Kakisa reached at the location only after Pia was raped. So she didn't saw it happening and could not stop it.
She did see the rapist and pia was covered with mud so she didn't know that it was pia. she did go to the family and said that when she was restless in the forest and that she heard something. She didn't want the family know that she could see but she just gave a hint.
