Jiji takes a break from Saat Phere

Jiji aka Nivedita Bhattacharya is shooting for her last few scenes in Saat Phere. "Yes, I am going on a break. But I can't tell you now whether I'll be back or not. It was such an amazing stint with my co-stars and producers. They are such nice people," is all she would say when asked to confirm the news.

Producer Sanjay Wadhwa was forthcoming about Jiji's status in the serial. "She is not out. Her track got over. And to justify her exit, we have reason. We can't show vamps for too long. She will definitely come back when we need her character," he said. How does Nivedita plan to utilise her break?

"I do a lot of theatre and am involved with Satyadeb Dubey. I will start dong some regular shows," she says. Does she plan to join her husband KayKay Menon in films? "It's not about following suit. You have to find the right role," the actress says rather firmly. So for now, jiji will be sorely missed in Saat Phere! (Sampurn)
