My guess is that, purani dodi was Nahar's and his first wife's room and Nahar's first wife died. They must have kept her picture and her belongings in that room...

I think that room must be holding Nahar's first wife or ex girlfriend's memories. Whatever may be the case we will know today in India and don't worry will post the update.
