Westwick, because of my extensive medical sciences background I am very well clear on benign and malignant tumors. Thanks for your input though.

You can find nonsense on the forum in so many different forms but this discussion definitely is not. I know Toasty is a mere character on a TV show but unfortunately this forum is meant for discussion of SBS and journey of characters in the show. If you have problem with it then stop reviewing this topic please. None of us is breaking any forum rules here.

It s neither a spoiler nor anything shocking!!

It was shocking for me because I really didn't believe the rumors going around that Toasty will be diagnosed with cancer. Just the night before I was predicting that she will probably be having low hemoglobin/iron deficiency etc which Smiley being a nutritionist will be able to fix for her.

I guess I tend to get disillusioned from time to time and try to find logic (at least to some extent) in my beloved show. It was hard for me to accept the truth of Kia-Ved wedding and similarly it will be difficult for me to accept that CVs would give Toasty such a serious disease which has the tendency to get really complicated in reality, only to declare her all well and healthy after few episodes. They could have achieved similar goal by showing less intense medical problem. Of course as discussed in earlier post, doctor may resume her conversation with Toasty by saying that even though she has brain tumor but it is benign and can be completely cured which will justify things to an extent.

Have not SBS left the word "logic" in the dustbin when they started the Ved-Kiya track? Since then I have not found any logic in any track - including how can anyone on the earth donate 100% of Rs. 1Cr just because the money made people greedy?? Will there be a single example of this happenning in real life ever!!

Agreed with you Didi...don't know how the CVs will handle such a serious topic but hope they don't completely ruin it. Hopefully they will make sure to show that it is a benign tumor so that at least it is operable (they still should show a huge lapse in time) because if they make it more serious than that and Toasty is cured within the next weeks, that would be ridiculous.

Can't get over how the gynecologist became a neurologist all of a sudden...ridiculous...then again..all Indian TV serial medicine is a fictional world in itself 😆
