Yay!!! So my class got cancelled and now I get to do gupshup till my next class 😉 😆
Here are the highlights of today's episode:
(Aradhna will post the detailed update later tonight after SBS has been telecast in North America)
~The elders are a little reluctant about Tej's plan at first because its too dabaang 🤣 (Arre yaar...jab mere jaanu itna dabaang hai toh aur kya umeedein ho sakte?) but Tej says its the only way and Toasty completely agrees and supports him...Tej asks everyone in favor of him to raise their hands...Prachin and Toasty are the first to raise theirs right away and everyone else slowly raises theirs...Pashu and Ved sit still and then Pashu takes Ved's and raises it up 😆
~Tej tells them how much he loves them and he's really excited to carry out his idea
~Next day Toasty gets a call from Nitika..her marriage is the next day...the C's realize they have to act that very day itself...Tej says he has a plan
~Toasty goes to Nitika's pretending to just be a supportive friend and she meets Tauji who sits her down and keeps diverting her from meeting Nitika
~The bache :P are setting up mandap at home and Prachin tries to give Tej an eco-friendly ladder 🤣 Tej calls Toasty to confirm the execution of the next step, even though Toasty is still caught in Tauji's hold...Tej leaves for his part of the mission.
~Toasty finally gets her chance to go to Nitika's room when Tauji walks away for some wedding planning business
~Pitaji is worried that Tej won't be able to bring Nitika...he walks off tense.
~Toasty tells the plan to Nitika but Tauji opens the door and listens and then shuts it quietly, hearing the plan.
~Toasty wishes Nitika all the best and goes to divert the elders so she can get away on Tej's bike.
~Tej arrives, calls Toasty to confirm his arrival, and then goes to give his first signal...a dog bark 🤣
~Tauji gives some work for Toasty to do and pretends like he thinks that Toasty hasn't met with Nitika yet.
~Tej and Nitika get away...Tej sends Toasty an SMS and Toasty tries to leave but Tauji says that he has kept her here so long and she still hasn't met Nitika so he goes to get her...Toasty tensed.
~Tej brings Nitika home only for all of them to find out that she is not Nitika but Tauji's daughter, Ekta hidden under her dupatta...she tells them that her dad made a fool of all of them as he executed his plan way before they executed theirs
~Tauji brings Nitika down and Toasty is shocked...Tauji reveals he knew everything and tells Toasty to leave and that she is not welcome to the wedding tomorrow...Toasty hugs Nitika and then Toasty squeezes her hand and gives her a hard stare that says "Get ready for Plan B" and Nitika gives a slight nod.
Pre-Cap: Pitaji to the rescue 🤣 Pitaji throws up a ladder over the wall and the runaway bride and runaway friend climb over it and the three of them run off 🤣

Oh God, what an episode!!! 😆 Where to begin!?f!
😲😲😲...So with Toasty agreeing with Tej...Did she hit her head or something?? I'm pretty sure this is the first time I'm seeing her support his idea right off the bat 😆 Maybe having to expose Kiya took so much energy out of her that she has lost some of her Toasty-ness 🤣 Thank God though! I would have been so upset if she had shot down this idea and had deprived me of watching Tej's plan play out...I love the runaway bride plan 🤣
And Tej being so excited 🤣 It's like he is the eloping bridegroom 🤣 Read Pooja's comment in my update yesterday when she mentioned that Tej must be excited about this running away idea as he didn't get to do it with Toasty and I totally agree 🤣 With his romance hero mind, he's probably playing out a plan he'd had in his mind since the time he was dating Toasty...his back up plan in case everyone flat out refused to ever, ever listen to his suggestion of marrying Toasty 🤣 Who knows what kind of daydreams and ideas were going through his head as he put up his bholepan facade and pataoing Toasty with his sharmeela nature...sharmeela, my foot 🤣 Then again, I'm also convinced that Toasty's romantic-ness completely transferred over to him during the pheres...ever since then, he's been the romantic, non-shy one and she's been the "how unromantic" one 🤣
*Ahem* Back to rest of the episode... what kind of parents are Nitika's parents? I mean, I really sympathized with them and felt bad for them because of whatever happened but what was poor Nitika's fault in all of this that they are forcing her to get married to this guy right away? Before they always said its her life...she stood up for them and said how important their respect was to her and everything so wouldn't they at least just be a little more loving towards her? The kinds of expressions they keep giving and allowing Tauji to act in this way...I feel like they think she's some kind of burden or something and is a curse on them and they're trying to get rid of her as soon as possible. If they don't want her to get married to Ved, then that's fine but what's the need ke zabardasti se shaadi karle uski...I felt so bad seeing her in this state...she seemed like a prisoner almost And the way her parents are just standing aside and are allowing all this to happen and are treating her this way, I'm slowly losing respect for them I don't understand why girls are always punished in these kinds of situations when they've done nothing. If her parents had simply rejected Ved but didn't force her to get married, etc...I'm sure that she would have respected her parent's decision and would have waited..but their decision to suddenly marry her off is what is pushing Nitika to agree to running away, which she didn't agree for before.
Don't get me started on Tauji 😡 He's right below Shobha Rani and Kiya Rani on my list 😡 Maybe even their equal...I haven't decided yet since this is only the second epi with him in it.
The boys' scene in the hall 😆 God I was dying when Prachin tried to give that plants vaala eco-friendly ladder to Tej...and the expression on Tej's face 🤣 🤣 I love this family TOO much!! Can't live without them yaar 🤣 And then my hero on his dashing bike 😍 (Mera herooo, voh mera herooo 😆)...loved how his signal was a dog bark of all things 😆 I was picturing how him and Toasty eloping would have been like 😍😆 I have to say that I love his and Toasty's great plans 👏...if Tauji wasn't there, Tej would have definitely been successful but no worries...because there's plan B! The look Toasty gave...I have a feeling TejYa were expecting this from the beginning and had already factored in a Plan B...I wouldn't be surprised...TejYa's battle plans have gone up a notch since the exposing of that chudail. I had a feeling that wasn't Nitika in that salwar suit yesterday but then thought I might have just been going crazy or they were using a body double or something...apparently not. This Tauji's daughter is just as annoying as her father...I say they duct tape her mouth shut to stop her yapping and send her straight back to her Hitler of a father 🤢 Listening to her whole "my papa's so great" vaala speech earned her a ton of eye rolling and urges to throw mirchi powder from me...I just spent the past couple weeks with a chudail that wouldn't shut up about herself, I can't deal with you right now, annoying spawn of dictator dad 😵
So like I said...I had a pretty good assumption right off the bat that there was an immediate Plan B in store and when Toasty hugged Nitika and then squeezed her hand and they shared that look/signal with each other...I could seriously feel myself getting all energized and like ready to fight a battle myself 🤣 *Waves arms around* I'm ready for the battlefield too...bring me into the front lines 😆 (A very off topic comment but where in the world is Smita!?!?! I feel like she would have been one of the top agents in this whole scheme of things...lagta hain, she went off on another tour with her husband...*sigh* I miss her! Her masti would have added so much more to this whole kidnapping plan)
And finally, the PRECAP!!!! I'm literally about to dance around my room right now because I loved that pre-cap! My Pitaji is back!! Seriously...this is the Pitaji that I love (I seriously can never forget that expression he had when he he was faking a heart attack to get TejYa back together and was telling Pashu that it was a natak 🤣 makes me laugh every time) and the Pitaji I wanted to come back from the village months ago...thank God, he's back!!! I couldn't stop laughing seeing him throw up the ladder and take over his son's hero position in rescuing the runaway bride 🤣 Too cute!! My cute si paagal Pitaji is completely back...100%..maybe even having gained another crazy bone or two 😆
MWAAAH SBS!!! I LOVE YOU!!!! (As much as i love my Jaanu 😆😛)
Which brings me to technical matters...I just noticed (yes I know I'm probably a day or two late) that we dropped 16 points again in the chaskameter...I still want to applaud the fact that we're at 26, rather than 40, but c'mon SBSians!!! I expect a lot from you guys as we have one of the most unique families with us and they deserve to stay constant and static in at least the top 20. So please please please...hit the chaskameter...comment on pictures, videos...stay active in the forum and check in on the weekends...make this forum as lively at the C parivaar 😉
