There seems to be a divide in the forum regarding toasty 's involvement in 'you know what'. Okay fine, Toasty wants Malti back so that she and Pashu reunite and restart their life on a fresh note. But how is she planning to fit all others into the picture ? If malti's mom had raised that gory allegation on Tej instead of Ved what would have been our Toasty's reaction? I would just like to know that!

I do not mean to say that Toasty is wrong but she definitely needs to understand the delicacy of the situation. Has she never ever had the common sense to understand that Pashu has got hell lot of obligations to fulfill (which has been imposed on him since his teen age by the sadist Chedi😡). And that accepting Malti back would mean end of relationship with his family. Pashu has set for himself a very high degree of morality that he cannot bring himself to accept her though he still loves malti wholeheartedly.

And what about Ved? How does she even expect to put away his humiliation and suffering? Toasty took a very diplomatic tone ticked off Nitika to stay away from her family afairs. If so on what grounds did she call up Smitha in the middle of the night and asked her to lend Rs. 30000. This behaviour puts Toasty in a very bad light. She is soon turning into a hypocrite.

The root cause of all these mishaps is Chedi lal and malti's mom. If he had had the consideration that even Pashu and Malti also need to have a life just like him and Bimla, things would have been less complicated. Until and unless Malti throws her mom out of thi schaosdon't think Toasty should mess around.

Toasty is a selfless soul and I duly respect her for that. But I seriously don't think that for mission Malti pashu reunion, a catalyst Toasty is needed. It will happen when it has to happen

I agree with some of your points, esp that Chedi and Shobha are the root of the problem. Toasty is needed as a catyalst but it shouldn't have been right away after she just got out of trouble. But I guess that what the writer wanted.

Speaking of writers, I think people forget that this is a show. Toasty not caring about Ved was the writers mistake! Actually the writers didn't care and they had Ved supporting Toasty, as per the promo and asking Pashu about the album. Then they finally realized, maybe after reading this forum that you can't have Ved be that supportive cause he has the huge allegations. Thus they had to make Toasty not really understand him, to make it fit. Truth is Toasty needed to get Veds trust then Maltis. But writers forgot that.

I also agreed that Toasty yelling at Nikki and then calling Smita was wrong. I do not support her there.

But I disagree that it would happen when it will happen. Toasty was needed otherwise it wouldn't have happened. Pashu and Malti would have been sad but not say anything there whole life. That is Pashus Character.

And a lot of people say Toasty is not compromising. Toasty has always been compromising, but sometimes one can't always compromise. One has to go against their own to bring true happiness.

I do think Toasty underestimated the task.

I think by now we have the Toasty supporters and Toasty Haters, we all respect each other and have learned to just agree to disagree.

I don't think Toasty has done anything appreciable so far. Pashu happens to get Malti's mangalsutra from the thug. Toasty asks him to return it to the owner and that is all she had done. She had literally done nothing but got bashed up for no reason. The accident was an unforeseen event. Pashu definitely did not pay the bill on Toasty's persuasion but out of his love and concern for Malti. Malti did not give her statement on Toasty's insistence. If Toasty stops taking the initiative Pashu will not get irritated and will be able to realize his true feelings for Malti. He is always irked when Toasty starts the topic. Whether Pashu loves Malti or not is not the issue. Its about how can she get back to the house after such a big fiasco. This is the reason why Pashu has put a veil on his emotions and acts as if he hates Malti

i agree with you 100%

good heart but tunnel vision toasty is really naive.

you know why most of the negative characters are SO SUCCESSFUL, its because they plant SEEDS. usually seeds of doubt

taosty just should have done that. mentioned the idea n let it simmer. let them think about it for a few months! that way even if something bad like this happened, they wouldnt have been pushed in a corner to decide about malti

pashus seeds were planted when he saw how toasty and tej were as a married couple in the beginning, he wondered why his marriage wasnt like that.

toasty, in her manipulating and pushing, made them all bring out thier claws and now they are ready to scratch, specially chedi

Agree with you guys to some extent. Toasty's intentions are good but timing is horrible. I think the CVs should have followed the baby track for sometime, the bua episode was hilarious and sweet.
How abourt:
Toasty get pregnant, this would bring lots of happiness in the family. Now the family realise need of another woman in the house.
At that time the mangulsutra episode happens and then when Pashu goes to return the mangulsutra, instead of Malti, Pashu gets injured, Malti brings him to the hospital, informs the family. This would have been her ehsan # 2 after taking the case back.
Pashu in critical condition, Malti doing the seva inspite of her mom's objections. Malti's mom throw tentrums, Malti throws her out. Another browny point for her.
Pasu's family now softens towards her.
Malti's mom gone, Malti all alone in the whole world. Now Toasty request bechari Maltibhabhi akeli keise rahegi, paisa nahi, pati nahi, bring her home.
What do you think

I understand where you are coming from. In that sense Toasty did do nothing I agree. Toasty was just a spark to light Pashus desire for Malti. But yes even I feel toasty needs to tone it down a bit.I can get why Pashu gets annoyed. I don't think everything she does is right but I do think that she is just opening the door for Pashu to truly spill his guts to her. I think in the end thats what she wants. Poor Pashu. Toasty should stand up for him as she is the one that took him to this point. Toasty might have done nothing, but all I know is that if Toasty wasn't there Pashu would never have the courage to admit that he still loves Malti.

But Toasty is not stupid. She knows she is taking a HUGE risk and gambling her happiness for Malti and Pashu. In life sometime we have to take such risks. Yes she is hoping the end justifies the means. But I think the end does.

That would really have been the ideal situation. But in life nothing is easy, and the more we mistakes we make, the more complicated it gets to resolve them and move on. Sometimes, unless the past is fully laid to rest, the doors of future can never open.

Much as I detest Toasty's current obsession, like everyone else I agree that she and her constant yak-yak was needed to prompt Pashu to think about his life.

All of us who are against Malti coming back agree that Pashu should not be alone, in that Toasty is justified in pointing at the problem. But there is a difference in saying that there is a problem that needs to addressed, and pointing a finger in someone's eyes and saying, "You seem to be cross-eyed". Toasty has the diplomacy of a 6 year old boy, who is let out unsupervised in a shop full of electronic items, after being locked up in a car for 3 hours. One feels sorry for her.

Today the day belonged to Pashu, for the first time he has faced up to his past. He has laid the demons of his disastrous marriage to rest. When he was with Malti, one could see that he had moved beyond that hatred which held him back from being normal with anyone. But he had also moved beyond love for Malti.

Toasty as usual is wrong. In a marriage no one has the right to interfere whether with good intentions or bad - even a marriage as disastrous as Pashu and Malti's.Toasty needs to understand this fact. Her mission was to fill the emptiness in Pashu's life. She could never have succeeded unless Pashu himself acknowledged that emptiness. Today Pashu has reached that stage and now Toasty needs to really really back off.

Today Pashu was a man who had closed all the doors to his past, and found himself empty of all emotions - his past clouded his present ad future, when he moved beyond the past, there was nothing he could see as he sat on that park bench. Today he needed his father the most. Only Chedi could've understood Pashu, had he tried to reach out to his son.The only person who can really heal and help Pashu at this stage is Chedi. For all the bitterness between them, Chedi and Pashu are more strongly connected than anyone else.

On a lighter note: One can understand why Pashu and Ved detest women, but why is Chedi such a misogynist? What was it about Vimla that turned him into such a woman-hater?

this is AFTER she blasted nikita for trying to help her and she turns around and does the meddling in others affair herself!
you are right about the 6 year old part. toasty is shown to be this amazing, subtle person whose plans will work but my gawd! her plans are worse than anything! she thinks she knows best for all of them when she has only known the family secret for mere months! someone send her on a vacation !
