Lucknow, August 7: Rain, rain go away, do not come another day. That's the revised version of the nursery rhyme for Mumbaites. It was unimaginable, we had never seen or lived through anything like this before. Mumbaikars were badly stuck in the rains with no where to hide. Shoots were on at various studios and it wasn't till lunch that they realized what was in store for them outside. We checked with a few TV actors who had some frightening experiences to share. Juhi Parmar: Our Kumkum spent the evening and night at the Star Plus office in Marol as she was shooting nearby. ''I was stuck in my car on the roads for about four hours when I saw the water level coming up and my car fuel level going down. I got home the next day. And I got my car back after two days,'' says Juhi.
Chetan Hansraj: Was shooting in Sankraman Studio for Kaise yeh pyaar Hai and his Honda was completely submerged in water. So he walked home. ''I started walking at four in the evening and reached a friend's place in Lokhandwala by night. In the morning I started out again at ten and got home at three. It was bad. But what I got to see on the roads was very touching - there were people distributing water, biscuits, bananas to those who were wading through,'' recalls Chetan. Neha Devi Singh (Bhoomi of Saarthi): Got out of MBC Studio and seeing the flood parked her car and walked home. ''And then you know what? I live on the 21st floor. There was no electricity. Phew!'' she gasps. Sumit Raghavan (Saahil of Sarabhai): Was also stuck in the car and his fuel tank got exhausted and he had to abandon his car. ''Then I decided to walk because my wife is away in the US and my kids were alone and I live on the ground floor. Luckily, all was fine. But my grandfather's house is a ground floor apartment had five feet of water. All electric appliances went for a toss,'' says Raghavan. Amar Upadhyay: Had luck dancing on his head probably because his shoot was cancelled that morning. ''I was at home with kids watching television. My dad was stuck somewhere and when I went to pick him up, it was really a sad sight. Fortunately, there was also no water logging around my place,'' says Amar. Sonal Sehgal (Hotel Kingston): Also lucky. The shoot of Hotel... was on but she was not required that day. ''It was bad because no phones were working and there was no power. I had a few friends over at my place later because water had entered their homes,'' she recalls. Usha Bachchani (Kusum, Tumhari Disha): Found herself not only in a traffic jam but also locked in her car as the engine went dead and the car was on electronic locking. ''Somehow, I got out and walked through waist deep water and had to literally swim past in a certain patch. It was terrifying. My car was full of mud the next day. I got it towed to the garage. I'm without a car now,'' she says.
