Arjun tells Keshav that Bhoomi misbehaved with everyone in the family. He tells him all that she did but Keshav tells him that he doesn't want to hear anything against Bhoomi. He tells them that Bhoomi doesn't even know the number of zeroes in 1 crore, so how could she think of asking her share from their property. He tells them that he doesn't believe that Bhoomi could do such a thing and he is sure that someone among them has plotted this to have Bhoomi thrown out of the house. He blames Arjun for not looking after Bhoomi and for not even inquiring as to where has she gone after leaving the house. He ends his friendship with Arjun and leaves in anger. Arjun is shocked.
Vasudev tells Keshav that he had always feared that such a thing would happen with Bhoomi but he is glad that she left the house, as she wouldn't have stayed happy there. He also says that he is saddened by the fact that Arjun didn't even stop her. Just then, Arjun comes there and tells Keshav that he easily ended their friendship but it is impossible for him to do so. Keshav tells him that he is worried about their friendship but didn't even think about his relationship with Bhoomi. Arjun gives him the letter. After he reads it, he tells Arjun that the handwriting is Bhoomi's but he knows that she wouldn't do this. He tells him that there is a secret behind it and he will discover it.
Shefali enters the kitchen and tells Ghanu Kaka that she would prepare the 'prasad'. She asks him to move away while she continues what he had prepared so far. Shaku and Gurvanti enter the kitchen and are surprised to see Shefali there. Shefali tells them that Bhoomi used to prepare the 'prasad' but she would take her pace from now on. Shaku tells her that she shouldn't compare herself with Bhoomi, as she knows their tradition better, unlike Bhoomi. Shefali is about to bring out the 'prasad' when Ghanu Kaka stops her. He tells her that she forgot to add 'tulsi' in it and if Bhoomi were around, she would've reminded her about it.
Arjun is in his room, remembering Bhoomi. He looks at the pictures of them on the wall and remembers how he and Bhoomi had together placed those pictures there. He looks at their wedding photo, with tears in his eyes. He speaks to Bhoomi's picture and asks her as to why did she change. Just then, Shefali enters. Arjun is surprised to see her in a 'sari'. She tells him that she wore it for the 'pooja'. She gives him the 'prasad' she prepared and Arjun asks her whether Bhoomi made it. He then says that forgot that she is not leaving with them anymore. Shefali tells him that she made it. Arjun tells her that Bhoomi used to make it, too. After he leaves, Shefali tells herself that even though Bhoomi isn't around, her photos make Arjun feel her presence. She removes the picture frames from the wall and says she would take Bhoomi out of Arjun's memories just as she took her out of the house.
Everyone is gathered for the 'pooja'. Baisa asks Bade Dadaji to perform the 'aarti' but he says that Bhoomi left their house on the day Goddess Amba's statue was brought in and it is a bad omen. He says that there can't be peace in a house wherein a woman is not treated with honor and respect. He refuses to perform the 'aarti' from now on, as only a daughter-in-law has the right to do so but their daughter-in-law, Bhoomi, is not with them anymore. He leaves from there. Everyone is shocked.
