Most of the performances in this round show tremendous improvement from previous rounds. Congrats to all the participants. Great going! 👏 👍🏼 I have divided the comments into three categories based on the performance.
Top Grades ⭐️
Lava29: Great song selection and very well sung! Good sur throughout especially in important places like sustained notes, trailing notes and landing notes. A little more flourish and softening of the voice is needed in some places like "o o o" and "o sajana". Better pakad in negotiating murkis would have been nice. But this is easily one of the best performances in this round. Kudos! 👏
Coollama: A very nice rendition considering it is a very tough song to sing. Not sure if this song qualifies as a fast beat song though. Watch out for vibratos. Sometimes it is a thin line between a shaky voice and a controlled vibrato. If you follow Talat's sublime renditions in the early 50s to his decline by the mid 60s, you will notice both aspects there. Sur is slightly off here and there. Some times your murkis are very well negotiated where as at other places, it is a little jerky. But brave of you to sing this song. Very good attempt! 👏 👏 👏
Kiti_g - OK comments on your rendition in my next post 😃 I had to choose between your rendition, coollama's and rocknroll's to give some detailed feedback. It is based purely on how many commentable aspects are in the rendition as opposed to how well/poor the rendition actually is. Anyway, finally I settled on yours this time.
Commendable effort
Minirulz: Nicely sung! You slowed the song a tad. You start off well in the mukhda. Your pitching is off in the antara. That affects the rest of the song. You have emoted very well. Your sur is mostly good except for wrong pitching in the antara. The second time you say pari hoon main, the ending is a little abrupt. The higher notes sound a little strained. That said, a nice rendition! 👏
Suhana safar: I second rocknroll here that you have a very melodious voice! About this song, good start in the mukhda. Antara pitching is off though you do manage to get back to the same pitch in the next mukhda. Sur is a little off in a few places in both mukhda and antara. Bhav is good and overall a good performance. 👏
evilseye - Loved the feel that you brought to the song. Sur was good until you hit the line tu meri khoj men aaja and then it faltered again towards the song. But I enjoyed your rendition! 👏
Kalpa56 - Like how you end aao na and pyaar kare. You follow it up nicely with soft vibratos in aao and aao na. That feel should have been there for the rest of the song which is missing. Sur is mostly good. The second line in the antara is strained when you are trying to hit the high notes. The lines in the antara need some more tightness so the taal is pakka. But overall good singing indeed. 👏

rocknroll - Haven't heard the original but your voice is shaky for most of the song. Looks like you did it intentionally to bring the verve needed to the song but it served mostly as a distraction in my opinion. Though your sur was not bad and the bhav was OK too but I couldn't get past the shakiness. From your previous rounds, it is obvious you are more talented than this rendition suggests. I just wish you had controlled your voice better. 🤔
Naughty_N_nice - Unfortunate for you that you had to go against Lava29 with this song. Sur needs a lot of improvement, bhaav also needs more emphasis. You have also foregone most of the murkis to make it plainer. Simplying murkis is not necessarily a bad thing and Mukesh's renditions are testament to that. But if that also accompanies less bhaav and lack of sur, then it becomes a problem.
Mala_sss - Again a repeat song leading to inevitable comparisons 😉. Though your pitch doesn't change in the song, your sur is quite off. You have made a good attempt to emote well but it still falls short. Higher notes need better execution. Not one of your best renditions especially compared to your previous performances.
Tabu - Hadn't heard this version of the song. Looks like they just took the old Lata-Mukesh duet, made it a female solo and slightly increased the pace. Still not a fast beat song though. That said, one major comment I have is "khulke gaayiye". The feel is lacking. Sur is off too. The line intezaar needs to be drawn out nicely. Still it is not a bad rendition. The competition is just getting tougher.
Saara - Where's the masti? This song needed a lot more feel. Sur was off at a few places though that was a minor issue here. Your voice quality is good. If you could modulate your vocals, it would sound much better.
