Its Retro Caf Show time again!! 😊

This week we are back with a theme which will surely make you all go watery…. Yes, the theme is

Songs on Sea/River.

We all love seas and rivers. The splash of the waves, the change of the water colors, the beauty of simply gazing around at the endless water, the fabulous sunrise or sunset, the beauty of the moonlit soaked water on a full moon night, the pleasure of being lost in nature with nature is something we all can relate with. How often has a poet or a shayar compared beauty and depth with the seas? "saagar jaise Aakhonwali" or "saagar se gehra hai pyaar" – how often have we used these phrases while complimenting someone or expressing something?

Someone has rightfully said :

Samundar ki har lehar humse baat kiya karti hai,
Apne zindagi ke falsafe humey sunaya karti hai,
Har lehar ki apni ek kahani hai,
Uss mein na koyi aanso na koyi khushi ki rawani hai,

Our Hindi films have many songs on seas. They cover every mood - whether happy, romantic, sad, wishful or analytical. Some of the songs are so evergreen that we can listen to them at any time and yet feel refreshed. This week Retro will bring some such songs for us.

So, please note down the show details as given below, mark the date and time in your calender, PM your friends to let them know too, add this thread to your favorites and keep the radio link handy and get set to have a memorable time.

Thanks adi. I am glad to know I was being missed. But I was in India and had fab. time with my brothers' families. It was very hectic trip with 3 weddings and lots of travel so I hardly had time to log on. But now I am back and missed you all too. 🤗

very much looking forward to next retro episode. I still need to listen to platinum jublee episode. I was on my way back home that time.

I like the animation. It is very beautiful.

Oh boy I will surely miss this great theme on Wednesday and all my thoughts will be with u guys ...and surely the juicy gossip of.... 😆 .I will definately enjoy the Bay of Bengal ...will be great to be back in Motherland away from the Bushland .Have fun and enjoy the retro and miss me 😭 😭
