Here come the champs

These little stars of the small screen need no introduction. In fact they are so high on the popularity charts that even the freezing weather couldn't stop dilliwallas from attending their concert in full strength.

It didn't take Tanmay, Vibhor, Aamir and Sukanya Gupta of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs fame to set the stage on fire with their rocking performance that took place at the Chancellor Club, Palam Vihar. Sukanya kickstarted the show with the song Piya Tu Ab To Aaja followed by a song from Rudali.

Following which was saddi dilli da Don, Vibhor Parashar, who gave the audience a chance to shake their legs to some foot tapping numbers. After him came surma bhopali, Mohammad Aamir Hafiz who added a classical touch to the show.

Last but not the least was 11-year-old Tanmay Chaturvedi

I know why maybe she lost confidence and did bad in later performances hehe wanna know why??? Because Diwakar was singing with her and not Sameer!! if Sameer was there with her she should be Top 5 atleast!! 😆

Li'l Champs' kids sing for Amitabh's Bhootnath

Zee SaReGaMaPa Li'l Champs' Tanmay Chaturvedi, 11, and Aamir Hafeez, 10, are on cloud nine. After all, it's not everyday that you get to sing for an Amitabh Bachchan film.

The children have recorded songs for Ravi Chopra's upcoming film, Bhootnath, starring Bachchan and Juhi Chawla and guest starring Shah Rukh Khan. Vishal-Shekhar have scored the music.

After hearing Tanmay and Aamir on Zee TV, Vishal and Shekhar (who appeared on the show as the guest of honour) were very impressed, and wanted them to sing in Bhootnath," a source from SaReGaMaPa Li'l Champs tells us. "When they approached Ravi Chopra and Amitabh Bachchan about this, the idea was welcomed."

Aamir and Tanmay were auditioned, and selected.

"Vishal and Shekar liked our performances," Tanmay, who hails from Lucknow, says. "I sang solo. The recording took two hours. Visual-Shekar helped us during the rehearsals. Sunidhi Chauhan was also there. If I had known earlier, I would have taken an autograph book with me.

Aamir finished his recording in an hour because he does not sing a solo, like Tanmay. "I sing a duet with Amitabh. But he had already finished his recording and left the studio by the time I reached," Aamir, who hails from Bhopal, says.

However, the boys don't have to worry about meeting their idol. Amitabh plans on having a special screening of the film for them.

Do studies take a beating because of singing? "I was never interested in studies," Aamir answers. "My mother does not force me to study now. So I'm very happy that I'm in Li'l Champs."

Bhootnath is a children's film, where Amitabh plays a ghost.

Well whosoever she was pining does not really matter so much. 😆But she sang fabulously.👏👏👏
