Downhill?? Says who? Simply because he is not getting hyped by the judges lately does not prove he is not performing great. He has set a pretty high standard for himself. Being good at the same genre as Mussarat and to some extent Raja also pushes that expectation - overtly or covertly, people start comparing his renditions to folks' 10/15 years older than him. And he is doing quite well in that regard. His Jiya Dhadak may not have met the expectation he set by Teri Deewani, but it wasn't like he performed bad. You may wanna argue for the sake of argument, but Aamir's Ya Rabba was simply brilliant - guess what grade he received for that - A - same grade that Vaishali got for I don't even know what to call what she did that day. His performances this week were also brilliant in my opinion. Anyway, fact is, I keep listening to his songs in youtube without even looking at the screen because it is singing that makes him stand out. For most others, I can't do that no matter how hyped they get by the judges.

I brought in Ashaji's comment simply because you mentioned her as a superior judge. So, the point was to prove that even a superior judge (in your opinion) had great things to say about Aamir. I'm sure, if Ashaji had some negative things to say about Aamir, you would be announcing it loud by now, no? 😊

If you ask me, all this big hype about forgetting lyrics made Aamir and his fans stay tensed during the performance making it a little difficult to get more involved in the singing. Nope, this is no excuse. I'd rather have him forget lyrics but render it with the soulfulness and power that makes me enjoy his singing. Personally, I disagree with the comments/grades given by the judges many a times. I've decided to follow my heart. Obviously you are following yours. I can live with that 😊

also, u sure u didnt round up the wrong guy here?😆 u see, i am all for personal tastes in music. but somehow azndesi seems to be saying that we need to present our personal qualifications/ credentials before we can appreciate music. or perhaps dig out what some self-promoting celeb had to say. do u think it's possible to convince him?😉😆

that song will touch the soul, irrespective of how poorly it's sung. hard to get the feel wrong. and given how many singers i've seen who can sing that song well, i think sonu is wrong when he says it's a hard song to sing. bacha bacha yeh gana gaata hai, that too better than aamir😉

u're saying that yaar, not me- about his not getting hyped by judges. if u ask me, i think he's getting overhyped. in any case, i was simply stating my opinions, witout relying on what anyone else had to say. the requirement to run those opinions by others and to present personal qualifications was one that was made by azndesi's. maybe u cld have a word with him? 😉😆
