raja was good. i think he got duped out of the trophy because vishal shekhar were too busy promoting themselves, jumping like rabbits whenever they saw a stage and the music started, rather than supporting him.๐Ÿ˜Š

where as amir is a quite one much like mussarat. unlike mussarat and raja...i think amir has tried singing other genres as well.

and may i add, to disastrous effect ๐Ÿ˜†

Fair enough. Here's the performance that Aamir gave in front of Ashaji (Sorry, can't post link, need to cross the threshold of 25 posts). Aamir came in third in that episode because he forgot the lyrics. But, Ashaji made it a point to explicitly mention (which she didn't have to) that the participant who came in third (Aamir) would clearly be the winner had he not made the mistake. It was merely a technicality at that point. She was clearly impressed by his rendition of Kabhi to Nazar Milao. She also appreciated the way he improvised and added a touch of his own - Shekhar made the same comment about that creative quality in him in the A/V shown last week.

i think amir has a convenient habit of forgetting lines that are hard to sing.๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜† and btw, what was the excuse there? yes, that's he unschooled. right. i suppose they teach hindi film songs in school, no?๐Ÿ˜†

also, imo it's more important to see how a person grades, not the nice things they say to make someone feel good. if i remember correctly, asha also pointed out i think to rohan to mark her words that he'd be a big singer in the future. so do we want to take that to the bank now?๐Ÿ˜†

my point with all that was to suggest that i'd like to have a listen myself, not decide that i like someone/ something because someone tells us that's good.๐Ÿ˜‰

Trust me. That's all I have been doing ๐Ÿ˜Š Paying attention to what/whom I like to hear. I brought in Ashaji's comment simply because you mentioned her as a superior judge. So, the point was to prove that even a superior judge (in your opinion) had great things to say about Aamir. I'm sure, if Ashaji had some negative things to say about Aamir, you would be announcing it loud by now, no? ๐Ÿ˜Š

If you ask me, all this big hype about forgetting lyrics made Aamir and his fans stay tensed during the performance making it a little difficult to get more involved in the singing. Nope, this is no excuse. I'd rather have him forget lyrics but render it with the soulfulness and power that makes me enjoy his singing. Personally, I disagree with the comments/grades given by the judges many a times. I've decided to follow my heart. Obviously you are following yours. I can live with that ๐Ÿ˜Š

would that be listening to music or "watching" it? ๐Ÿ˜† as for me, i do music only in patches. lots of other fun stuff to do.๐Ÿ˜†

same judge had two other guys ranked higher. and that was during amir's heydays before he began going downhill, including what is alleged to be in his kinda song.๐Ÿ˜†

no. if you notice, the entire topic was brought up by azndesi. dont need someone's endorsements to make up my own mind.๐Ÿ˜‰
