Sonuji mentioned that in passing a judgement, they sometimes forget that the participants are only kids and consequently expect very high standards. Therefore based on Aamir's age and also looking at the kind of songs he tackles we must admit he is wonderful.

sorry i dont feel the same way. rang de basanti chola and kar chale hum fida (the song that tanmay sang) are two of the most patriotic songs ever. hard for anyone singing those songs to not touch you. yet i did not find either of them doing that, or in fact singing those songs as well as some others who have tried those songs before on sgmp (and mind you, tanmany is one of my favs). fwiw, i found a mechanical feel to their singing on those songs.

coming back to aamir, when did he really have a blow-out performance? he's lagged behind anamika in almost every episode. so how come, folks think he is the best? what is the rationality there? if u're gonna go along with what sonu says (and worse, with who the jumping duo of vishal shekhar sign up), and not with what an asha might say, then you shld be consistent there. by sonu's own grading, he's had aamir behind, and i'm certainly not gonna look for age excuses there 😊

as for whatever you have there, bud, i think the idea here is to express our opinions, not necessarily rubberstamp someone else's. a sonu nigam saying one thing today and another tomorrow dont cut it for me. i'd rather go with an asha on that score if i didnt feel like doing my own thinking.😆

Many people think he sings easy songs , judges and public are biased because he looks young , is cute , has this Gream company and stuff goin on, funny ad slogans etc.... Judges always have said to him he is not a "Great" singer, He is top 1 in many peoples list including Top3 in mine and as you mentioned One of your Favs Whats the rationale there?

his sales pitches were a turn-off as far as i was concerned. so as of now, it's no one for me😊
