I don't think this was scripted.

If anything it was real emotions on display i'd say. From what we know of anamika, she's always been emotional and sensitive which reflects in her poetic ability. It was just a weak emotional decision for her and we know what sparked it off. And give the girl a break guys! How many of you guys have the guts to be up there on tv for a singing competition at the age of 12 anyways? not many of us im sure. and add to that the guts to quit a show and destroy your dreams when you've come so far into it and worked so hard at it. You've gotta give it to her. She's just 12 1/2. Girls go through a lot of emotional change at that age. its when we start being more conscious of being on stage and stuff too. Everyone would love to be 5 again when you are all carefree and uninhibited,utter any nonsense and it comes across as "Aww so cute".

I don't think she was being rude in any sense. Right before she started singing she seemed down and totally affected and prolly not in the mood to tell a "funny" totally made-up story. CUE: Pressure from being put under the scanner every week! Later on, she probably realised she'd put herself in a spot and could'nt handle the pressure of being in it and just acted impetuously. C'mon lets get real now, and not so quick to judge and SCRUTINISE the actions of a 12 year old.Im sure everyones had that sorta weak moments when put under tremendous pressure especially at the sensitive age of 12, when your going through great emotional changes and unable to decipher whats happening with yourself! We can't expect her to act so grown-up bout it.

If anything i'd think she's REAL. Nautankis would be others who present sobstories of their lifes for sympathy votes.*cough* AMIR *cough* but hey im cool with whatever. 😉

I think we should stop being such critics take life a little easier.

U know, now that i think abt it more....why she had to sing moe than half of the song and then decide to STOP, and QUIT then. She could've said it in the beginning. or jsut opt-out of the show behind scenes..not come at all.

Of course she has a right to care about her father, and she really is a kid so what do you expect. BUt taking a decision like that without what your parents think about it is wrong. She was being so stubborn and kinda rude.

Also i feel bad for Aditya...not only her but sometimes most kids are rude to him. lol

She is on the top, and her decision to quit would probably give her father a heart attack.

Not to be rude, but you're kinda being biased and contradictory, aren't you? On one hand you talk about how Anamika's only 12 and her actions shouldn't be scrutinized etc etc....but then you bring in Amir. Who's actually even younger than Anamika and never really created a huge drama like this on his own. The guy being poor is a fact, he can't do much about it. And everyone's family has been discussed in one way or another on the show. And if that's for sympathy votes, then what Anamika did can very well be seen as a ploy to get even more votes too so that her fans think that she shouldn't be voted out or else "her dad will have a heart attack too".

I don't think Amir is purposely showing his background...all kids have shown where they are from n everything. I remmeber this kid with glasses who left..in the end they were saying how hard it is for his father to raise him b/c the kdis has no mother. I don't remembr exactly but that day everyone was crying.

ve never see him cry over jsut b/c he wasn't the top. He took the criticisms and chose to fix it.

I guess i didnt word that properly what i meant was that, more than anamika's issue being scripted and grabbing so much attention, i would think that Amirs issue is what was scripted but i don't see such a hoohaa being made about that issue? FUNNY. Personally i have more issues against zee for wasting screen time and showing us all that, time and again ,season after season, THAN what happened here. Nothing against Amir though.
