Weak decision on the child's part, yes, but nevertheless she is still a child, so to penalize her by denying her a deserved vote (if she sang well) is foolish.

I feel Anamika's feelings were genuine, but there were elements of drama in the episode. Who can believe that Sonu, Sureshji and Adi didn't know about Smita's dad? I also feel that supporters of other contestants are taking advantage of this episode to bring down support for Anamika. The fact remains that she is one of the best singers of the show (if not the best) and will reach the top 3, whatever happens!

The reason I think all drama is scripted is because...why did Anamika have to wait till her performance on stage to announce it? If she had already decided on quitting, she could of very well announced that to her parents/adi/etc backstage. Then she could've come on stage and announced it too, or just leave and we could've seen the footage. To leave your mom and everyone else clueless about it and wait till your on stage kinda shows it was planned and scripted.

I think this topic should be taken out by the moderators. After all she is still young. and instead of encouraging and auiding her, we should not discourage her mentally.
