Apart from pressing financial issues as discussed, many parents can be superstitious that their child may not get eliminated if they are present during the performance. I think it happened with one or two contestants before because parents felt superstitious about their own presence leading to their child elimination.
Aamir seems to be very talented and with spokesman like Sonu by his side, he should be in good shape when the competition ends.
