Yes, Soha is so beautiful, I couldn't keep my eyes off her. She is the only star daughter whose beauty and grace is close to her mother's. On Friday's episode, Amir was mindblowing. Vasundhara was excellent. But Rohanpreet had a easy song. He maintained it well, but I don't think he deserved the number 3 position. No 3 should have been Rohit or Vibhore. Saturday, Smita was really good. And so were Rohit and Tanmay.

Sorry I donot have two cents. I heard Vaishali got voted off 😭 so I cant watch it.

Anyone eliminated is painful as these are young kids. The judges too have a hard time deciding and they too do not like the job of kicking someone out. But the system does not work if none is eliminated either.

Overall the show was very good, due to wonderful and unforgettable performances by the favourites.

I wouldn't say that Tanmay is the best. Aamir and Rohit are the most pukka singers in this group. If Aamir doesn't forget lyrics, he is the best..

Amir's performance was definitely the high point of this week's episodes. This kid has all the qualities required to be a complete singer. Vasundhara as usual displayed her prowess in singing delicate harkats and murkhis, but she does need to work more on the "sur".
I didn't enjoy Saturday's episode as far as song selection is concerned. I just can't imagine why a kid would be asked to sing a song like "chadti jawani" or
"jaijai shivashankar", or even "roop tera mastana", there are so many many more excellent songs from the 60s and 70s to choose from. Even if they had to only shoose from Soha's mom's films, there are a plethora of much better songs out there.

I would have choosen the following songs from movies in which Ms. Sarmila Tagore has acted:
1. Vaishali - Bada Natkat hai Krishna Kanhaiya (Amar Prem)
2. Vibhore - Khilte hain gul yahan (Sharmilee)
3. Rohit - Jeevan se bhari teri aankhen (Safar)
4. Anamika - Balma khuli hawa mei (Kashmir Kee Kali)
5. Loria - Nee mei yaar manana nee (Daag)
6. Smita - Hum the jinke sahare or Chanda hai tu mera sooraj hai tu (Safar and Aaradhana)

The only one I liked was "yeh chand sa roshan chehera" sung nicely by Tanmay.

That's pretty cool selection of songs you have there.

I agree with almost all the one you picked. These songs would have been a nice selection to go for kids.

The selection of ur songs is excellent,but I personally think these are songs which adults shld sing. I doubt how much justice kids wld've done to these numbers.Rohit has the capability to sing Jeevan se bhari....,but for a kid to bring that feel in his song,it is difficlt.Again,Hum the jinke sahare(simple tune)..the beauty of the song is the pathos....difficlt for kids.Maybe she cld've pulled off Chanda hai tu.

Bada natkhat,easy song,but tough for a 10 yr old.I doubt if Vaishali has the potential to sing that kind of song.Khilte hain(tough song)..Vibhore cld've done it,but then he messed up yeh dil....which is an easier number!Wld he have managed khilte hain?Personally,i like yeh dil very much(jumping notes,nice song,sounds easy,li'l difficlt to sing)

Balma Khuli hawa-Anamika...maybe she wld've done it......But the harkats........Ashaji has sung that song so beautifully,with such intricate harkats & murkis that ppl wld've compared it to the original and said it was lacking.

I too,did not think much of the choice of the songs,but they were ok for kids.And anyway,chadti jawani,jai jai shiv shankar and saiyan dil mein aana were not Sharmila Tagore's numbers..So I guess the attempt was just to sing old songs,not necessarily Sharmila's numbers...just my two cents(as the topic said 😊 )

PS:Sharmilee has rakhee in a double role.Sharmila Tagore doesn't star in it 😊

Oops, you are right!! Sharmilee had Rakhee in a superb double role (especially liked her dark role in that movie). And you are right that the songs were not all from Sharmila Tagore's movies, but I just picked the songs from Ms. ST's films.
I do believe that since these kids were choosen from several hundreds of children who auditioned, they should be able to sing these songs. They are not too difficult.
Yeh dil was a bad choice because it had yodeling which the kids can't do yet.
