OK, my answer to your question. Well, I felt that if cooking is the first thing that comes to mind, when one thinks about being a woman...it is definitely a traditional (may I say stereotyped) way of looking at them.
Of course, I agree heartily that cooking is an art, but I wouldn't say that women will outclass men when it comes to cooking. It's just that they were given this role for generations, no one bothered to know if they liked it or not, and they did it for the family.
I can't say about others, but my mom's cooking is out of this world. My bhabhi, she is a professional too, but would give anything anyday to be an expert in cooking just like her mom or my mom... at this moment she is as bad as us.
Most of my relatives whetehr they are proffessionals or housewives, they take pride in being good cooks and treating the family with various delicacies.
Sanjeev Kapoor may be a great cook, but he is an exception. There may be many guys here who are good cooks but that is one area where I really lack. Infact one big hindrance that can't make me self reliant. And trust me, if I could I would give anything to master it. I dont think its an inferior job compared to other high profile job.
