This show is suppose to build the kids self esteem, not break them!!! I was disgusted and disappointed by sonu's comments during the diwali episode! I'm not going to deny that it was a bad performance, but there really was no need to say words like "mediocre", "worst", and other demeaning words. Sonu could simply have said its something you should work on and I will help you improve. Honestly, vishal and shekar are great judges because they were always positive on saregamapa challenge.

I also felt the same way about his comments yesterday. It is always a good idea to be honest but at the same time the mentors need to be careful with their words especially with the children. Sonu needs to point out first the strength and then the weakness the child need to work on.

i thought sonu was right.

Aamir did mest up in few places.

its better for sonu to tell him right now, so next time he won't make same mistakes, cause Aamir is good singer.

amir's performance was not up to the mark...he is capable of doing much better,y'day his practice was not enough,so sonu made serious comment..otherwise amir might not take it seriously,,...it was in a good intension..sonu never gets upset especially with kids.

In the USA children at school hardly get and F on their report card because they say that it makes them feel like a failure and not try harder. Instead they encourage teachers to look at the areas where the child needs help and look for new strategies to help children do better. I am sure Sonu knows what he is doing and hope in future he will find ways to help these kids by encouraging and giving tips on how they could be better singer.

Sonu's comments certainly weren't unjustified, but I agree that he should have said them in a nicer manner. Kids can be affected easily by disheartening statements and it could demoralize them.
