Sonu was very mean to Amir Hafeez - Page 2

Aamir did mess up that song. But Sonu could have been said it in a milder tone, afterall he's a small kid. May be after the saawariya song Sonu must have been expecting much more from Aamir.

Yes the judges should not be harsh with the kids as they are very sensitive and still very young and vulnerable. Luckily the parents did not throw a shoe or something in disgust. If not happy just give lower marks and explain to them why. But to cut them down in public which is not acceptable. But guess since this is Sonu's first time being a judge little slip ups do happen, he only intended to point out Amir's mistake but it came across poorly. I am sure after the show he would have explained to Amir.

I just felt that Sonu was upset 'cos he expects a lot from Amir and didn't like it when he didn't do good

Generally the judges do feel very close and attached to the participants as they know they know them quite well on a very personal level. But yes he was disappointed and over reacted unintentionally.

yup i agree...they have to be little harsh so that they start taking the contest seriously...More than Sur , i think he was more mad caz Amir forgot too many lines which means he didn't practice enough!

Amir Hafeez seemed to take things quite lightly, and after his best performances in the previous episodes, the expectation has gone up. Sonu did the right thing , this will make him come back with better performances next time.

If Sonu were to be nice to Amir , the kid probably would have been out in the next episode , i felt he stood only next to Barbie in terms of mistakes committed during performance this week. This is a way to make Amir improve and come back to his form, otherwise he is going next!

He was a bit harsh, but I kinda think it was good for Amir. He seemed 2 be gettin over-confident, all the praise seemed 2 b goin 2 his head. Atleast now he'll think more carefully before each show, but yeh Sonu did lose it........ 😕 😕
