Sanwariya's music and Ismail Darbar

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone compared Monty Sharma's music in Sanwariya with that of Ismail Darbar in previous Bhansali's movies.

If Sanwariya had been given to Darbar how would have been the music, better or worst?

I was just watching Devdas today being aired on Sony and honestly the music of Devdas really surpasses Saawariya in my opinion.. There are certain songs in Saawariya that just does not make any impact on me.. (eg. Jane e Jaan, Pari). In Devdas and HDDCS all the songs were really soulful..

Have you heard Ismail Darbars own album he released earlier this year??? It was Aweful and fell off the Radar without anyone even noticing. When was the last time Ismail Darbar had a good album or hit??. Quite frankly i dont blame Sanjay leela bansali looking for other talent in this case. Monty didnt do a brilliant job either but atleast the title track became super hit 😉

Absolutey right. The music is too soothing and romantic also. When you see the movie and hear may be it will have then more effect. However, why do we want the similar music of DEVDAS AND HDDS and also the same musicians ???
It is always nice to taste others talented singers or musicians as well and some of them are really nice and innovative.Sanwariyaas songs are NICE AND MUSIC TOO IS FINE.

I think Saawariya's lighter style of music matches the themes of whatever the promos show. ID's music was good for movies like HDDCS and Devdas, but I'm pretty happy that Monty was given the job for Saawariya.

ID would have given better music 😃
