Saawariya's music is Okay.. not excellent... HDDCS and Devdas and even Kisna music was excellent... ID's album might be bad but his situational tracks in his movies have been pretty good...

Yeah I also think that ID could have done a better job, but I am not too sure about it either:)

I just watched a short clip of Monty Sharma singing the title track of Sanwariya on Rediff, and I am not impressed at all. I understand that a musician doesn't have to be an excellent singer, but all the musicians can at least sing their own tunes nicely. You people wathc that clip and let me know what you feel.

Jokes aside, Ismail Darbarji's songs in movies have a charm that it can be felt even after ages.One of the very rare MD's of today who has this capability. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is lucky that it was ID who composed the music of Devdas or HDDCS. The music in these two movies had a major role in its success. SLB and ID stopped working not because ID was running low on talent but because ID had plenty of personal problems to keep him occupied.

No, i havent heard it yet. but who cares..if it didnt do well. n have u heard his Hum dil de chuke sanam, kisna & devdas?? i m sure u did. and now compare it plz.

Ismail darbar is one of the finest music director in the bollywood. I cant wait for his next project to come out. i always look forward to listen his music.😛

well in my opinion i think ID would have done a better job than monty. well for example for sawaariya i only love the tittle song but all the songs from devdas just touches my heart

HAHA bohut shana ban raha hain tu 😆😆😆 No that was the Album Sanjay leela bansali came to the launch for lol. Believe me u will hear the album HR will help him produce, rokda laga ne ka hain toh bol de abhi se 😉 😆😆

I heard ALL his albums. You have only heard the ones u mentioned so listen to them all then u will know for yourself. Those very good albums no doubt except for Kisna which was ok. In my books that only 2 good albums . There are many many singers / Md's out there who are 1 hit wonders or 1 album wonders everyone can remember the songs 20 years later but even then thats all they are 1 hit / 1 album wonders. Ismail has a lot to prove still, to be condisered one of bollywood's finest in my opinion.

No camparision between Devdas,HDDCS and sawariyaa.Ismaial created history with those two movies.Not saying anything bad about Monty's music it's ok .

ismail darbar's music was better then monty in hddcs and devdas also tera jadoo chal gaya .but in saawrirya there is 4 songs are very excellent. tite track , Masha ALLAH. shabnami and naina . 👏
