You are quite right too. Sonuji and Sureshji do not impose themselves or their personalities over the others. They are both highly respected and very ideal in dealing with the little kids. It is a very tough job of being the "Judge" and also the "Executioner" and having to answer a load of questions from dissatisfied parents; this is the worst part when so many kids and parents start crying. Sonuji is a bit more tactful compared to Sureshji due to his long time experience as a Host of the Show, but Sureshji is also very sharp in distinguishing the quality of the singers and identifying their faults and correcting them.

As for Himeshji we should not prejudge him yet, given that the circumstances and situation being different where he only acts as a Judge and not as a fellow competitor. So with young kids he may also soften and be kind to them. He will treat each of the contestants like an Aneek clone and have words of encouragement and advice. It is hard to resist the charms of the little ones, most musician are aritstes are generally not so hard hearted.😉

On the same note, a little point to ponder. Simon Cowell of Americal idol is also completely ruthless and rude too and yet they still keep him. The show needs such people too.

A good Producer/Director recognises the skill sets of all these persons and will use them as pawns in a game ( a competition against the Rival Stations) and also rake in more profits. But he also knows how not to overstep the boundaries which should be clearly drawn. For each episode the Producer will apply different strategies to win the opponent, the Rival Stations. He has to keep changing the Mentors/Judges too until he gets an ideal team or formula.😆

Himesh Ji has never got the opportunity to become a judge, he has been a mentor. I have my reservation about mentors being called as judges.

In contrast , Sonu Nigam has the experience of being a judge in II2 and is now doing the same in Li' Champ -7.

I think the red lines are the net result of this thread's disscussion and hence the point: Sonu all the way. Himesh should never return to this show as judge or mentor. He is capable of neither.

Thanks a lot! I appreciate your agreeing with me.. I can't stand sonu being compared to random people..for instance himesh.. And if someone prefers the latter to Sonu, that's like a NO-NO..😉

himesh is a very honest judge.Maybe he is not a diplomat,so ppl misunderstand him.He is a very sweet and down to earth person.

This is a general consensus that Himesh is done with SreGa show. He will not return "Hero Honda and some other reasons", so is Ismail D. Hemesh might be seen in SOVI next year. But trust me he is done as far as this show is concerned..

We will see Bapi, Sonu, Vishal Ji and cute Shekhar next year for sure. Suresh Ji has too many commitments here and abroad and it will be difficult for him to stay with this show for long time.

My point is that the services of these mentors/judges have been engaged for a certain reason and that it is imperative that they deliver the goods. Whether they are to play a hero or a villian is decided by the Show organisers. 😉

How come , only Himesh has to play a villain? I guess , the show organisers certainly see his traits matching that of a villain.😆

And he is master of technology , too. Otherwise , how could only he come to know that only males are voting for Aneek and females votes were coming in low numbers. 😆 As far as I know , the format for sending the sms votes was

"Contestant_name" and send it to 57575, Nowhere one had to mention his /her gender,But the geek Himesh always came to know whether a person who has sent votes, is a male or a female.😆

C'mon I think u shud show more sports(wo)manship as u have been doing before. U shud be open to both positive and negative responses. I u want only positive responses. I thnk u shud have named the thread something like "Himesh si the best" . or "Himesh Vs Sonu----only Himesh fan's allowed to post"..
