Why do they have to make thefinale sooooo

It is really boring the way they do the finale. They make the contestants dance and lip sync the songs. I wish they would make it into a good singing show that is short and sweet. Initially I started seeing it then came back after 3 hours to see the winner declared. They make it extremely boooooooooooring!!!!
