Frankly women have the most beautiful voices. Up to now I do not think anyone can match Nihira, in recent times of course ( not going all the way back to the last century).😆

I know plenty of people in Bengal who didn't even know abt the existence of this competition, let alone vote. I called up some of my relatives in Kolkata asking them abt the show and they were like, what show, who Aneek, Amanat???? So I dont buy the idea that Kolkata and Bengal voted in droves and the rest of India were not!!!

All three are good singers and success in the long run will depend on how things work out for them from here onwards. All 3 have got a great platform to showcase their talent and the results of SRGP 07 is immaterial (other than the gifts) for their future.

And Raja and amanat remains the better people... they are good at heart and i have a feeling i know why they didnt win... but im not syaing anything coz im not tsupid enuf to get myself banned from this forum...

It is very clear from what you write you do not watch the show or only watch their faces ( MAY BE RAJA'S LONG HAIR , ETC.ETC) and do not listen to music or the comments. IT IS ALL THE MENTORS AND THE CELEBRITIES WHO ALL CAME ALWAYS TOLD ANEEK SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN IN THIS COMPETITION BUT DIRECTLY IN THE RECORDING STUDIO. PL ASK ZEE TO REPEAT THE SHOW FOR YOU TO HEAR AND KNOW THIS FACT. ALL THE MENTORS SAID I REPEAT. OK THEY ALL SAID ONLY HE IS READY TO RECORD OTHERS STILL NEEDS TO COME TO THAT LEVEL AND PRACTICE A LOT.

Guys, Aneek did not win only because of Bengal. Its ridiculous how people are manipulating the situation. There were huge number of people who voted for Raja from Bengal. On the other hand I know lots of people from Gujrat, Punjab and abroad who have left their work to vote for Aneek. Its funny how people are not seeing that Aneek got the second highest International votes, while Raja was third in International voting. About taking leaves and voting, lots of Raja fans too did it. It is quite obvious that Amanat got highest International votes and Pakistan votes comes in International votes. I fail to understand how people don't see these points. As a die-hard fan of Aneek, we worked really hard. I would have never known how much it takes to make a person win if I would not have been involved in his community this time. Rajas fan club was more than 2 times bigger than Aneeks. But, I have seen that lots of them wasting time in opening new threads and discussing things while, there we hardly any discussions in Aneek's community. We were busy tapping votes, campaning and voting for Aneek. Actually, there were lots of people who liked Aneeks singing and wanted to vote for him but, was not aware of how to vote or was note motivated to vote for him. We tried hard and made them vote for him, There is nothing wrong in that. We did our work silently. Lastly, I would say only one thing, when you have accepted to choose a winner by public voting, then you should never complain about it.

Good well said. I fully agree and understand your points. IT IS THE TRUE MUSIC LOVERS WHO UNDERSTANDS MUSIC AND VOTED HIM. INITIALLY THEY DID NOT DO MAY BE LAZY OR BUSY SOMETHING BUT LATER ON ALL GEARED UP.

Ok i want to make a point here if only Bengali's voting like the other regions (Darjeeling and Bikaner behaved) no bengali's came on the road and created EMERGENCY IN THE STATE when AMIT IN ID 3 LOST TO PRASHANT ( WEAK SINGER WHO WON ONLY AND ONLY BEC OF REGIONAL MADNESS) AND EMON TOO WAS OUT (BEST SINGER IN ID 3) . and also there were 5 Bengali's in ID3 but all did not come on top 5 etc. ONLY THE REALLY GOOD ONE CAME.

ALSO IN VOI there were 4 Bengali's all got out simply bec they were not upto the mark. SO THEY REALLY NEVER VOTE FOR REGIONAL REASON BUT FOR THEY UNDERSTAND MUSIC AND LOVE MUSIC.

There were plenty of people at the Indian gatherings asking each other to make sure and vote for him. I am sure there were plenty of Bolly wood celebrities voting for him. A lot of them came on the show and publicly said that they love his singing the best, and wanted him to win. It is a fact our vote didn't go to vain and he won fair and square. Why Aneek haters filled with such hatred and jelousy,is it just because their favorite didn't win. I never said anything negative about Raja or Amanat.Infact, eventhough I wanted Aneek to be the winner but appreciated others as well. After so many negative comments from so many people from this forum I find it difficult to understand their frustration.

Absolutely right. They do not hear song they see the singer only and his long hair being thrown behind in style and got carried away by all this fancy. ANEEK CAME WITH SPECTS ON SIMPLE LOOKING BOY AND IT IS ZEE TV WHICH GOT HIS LOOK CHANGED.

I know, voters from Kolkata and India played a major role in Aneek's win, but we cannot ignore the fact that Aneek got 1.28 crores of international votes, whereas Raja got 1.18 crore votes. And, Aneek defeated Raja by 13 lakh votes. This shows that Aneek was ahead of Raja only by 3 lakh votes based on Indian voting, whereas Aneek was ahead of Raja by 10 lakh international votes.

Being from the US, I also voted for Aneek and this is the first time ever that I have voted for any contestant on a reality show. There will be quite a few examples of voters like me who voted for the first time and voted for Aneek.

That is why, Aneek is a true winner, because he won the hearts of millions of people all over the world.

You have conveniently not mentioned that Amanat got more international votes than Aneek.

But if Aneek had got more international votes than Amanat you would have certainly mentioned it in this wonderful analysis.

You see, if Amanat were a Kolkata resident, and Aneek a Pak national, the state would have voted for Amanat instead of Aneek. You think most of them care who is the better singer?

Absolutely right. In Kolkata they do not watch TV so much. They mostly go out to relatives house on weekends or take up children's studies ( i have recently been to Kolkata my sister-in-laws i saw the same ) only bec i went they put on TV and are not TV Worms. Even i called my relatives they too did not know and asking me is he your known or relative etc. I told all Kolkata my relatives to vote. This is the way we did to make Aneek win.

I intentionally did not mention that Amanat got the highest international votes because there is a lot of room for debate there. A lot of people here are saying that Kolkata people voted for Aneek, in a similar manner, we can also argue that Amanat became No.1 in international votes only because people from Pakistan and Dubai voted for him. When it comes to international voting, Raja and Aneek are the neutral parties.
