I know, voters from Kolkata and India played a major role in Aneek's win, but we cannot ignore the fact that Aneek got 1.28 crores of international votes, whereas Raja got 1.18 crore votes. And, Aneek defeated Raja by 13 lakh votes. This shows that Aneek was ahead of Raja only by 3 lakh votes based on Indian voting, whereas Aneek was ahead of Raja by 10 lakh international votes.

Being from the US, I also voted for Aneek and this is the first time ever that I have voted for any contestant on a reality show. There will be quite a few examples of voters like me who voted for the first time and voted for Aneek.

That is why, Aneek is a true winner, because he won the hearts of millions of people all over the world.

You forget Amanat was number one in international votes. He should have won but for tribalism. My tribe should come above talent or merit. Bengal voted for the member of their tribe they didn't care about talent or merit if that is not the case we wouldn't see all Bengal voting for their candidate and free voting boothes. This is an example of corruption, neoptism and tribalism part and parcel of India in all walks of life. Aneek is not a true winner in singing competition but winner in the war among various tribes.

By same token a Punjabi can never ever win because Punjab doesn't have the population to compete with Bengal or Rajasthan. Only singers from states with resources and large population will win in each and every time.

Amanat is my favorite too. But, you should also not forget that international voting includes votes from Pakistan too, may be because of those votes, Amanat became No. 1 in international votes.........Who knows......

You are kiding Sumi and Poonam don't count in India. Women contestents should seriously stop taking part..no point in going through the hoops ...let men hash it out. The one from state with huge population and resources or interest in music will be the winner , without doubt.

Suparna, do we need to clarify about Aneek's winning? He emerged as the winner, PERIOD! He sang like a pro, he is the champ!

People foul crying about regional voting, instead of crying here should take step in stopping SMS voting.

People foul crying about manipulating votes, don't ever underestimate Bengal and NE. Don't you forget winners like Ujjaini, Sanchita, Debojit? Aneek is even better than them. Then why should he be deprived from their votes, that too he was already popular as the Bangla Champ. Every Ma in Bengal wishes to have a BETA like Aneek. They call Aneek "Gharer Cheeley"(means apna ghar ka beta). Have some common sense.

Amanat and Raja are way better singer than Aneek. Aneek won because of neoptism and tribalism practiced in India.

Bengal has huge population with resources and they are very tribal in their voting they screw up the merit based voting each and every time. If Bengalis can be tribal so can other Janata they can refuse to listen to Bengali singers songs. There are lots of others singers to enjoy.

I will prefer Amanat and Raja's songs anyday to Aneek's. I prefer Sonu over Aneek.

What happened in Rajasthan? If Raja had won same question would'nt have come up? Even people accepted the fact that if Raja wins it will be regional voting and if Aneek wins it would be universal voting. Ab to Pasa hi palat gaya. Where is Rehmanbhai? Why did every time Sumedha got cleared thanked Chattisgarh? Why Harpreet always mentioned Punjab? And Joy did Assam? Mauli to Gujrati hi chaloo kar di. Don't forget Mumbai made Abhijit Sawant first II winner and Rajasthan made Sandeep. Stop crying about regionalism(or tribalism in your words), that's the way it works in these competetions. Instead if possible stop the SMS voting.

Who ever you choose it's your personal choice, they felt Aneek is good so they voted for him. Isme bahas kya hai?

Don't listen to Bengali singers(I don't wish to make the list of Bengali singers in the industry), but we will listen to all and still can have our favourites.

Guys, Aneek did not win only because of Bengal. Its ridiculous how people are manipulating the situation. There were huge number of people who voted for Raja from Bengal. On the other hand I know lots of people from Gujrat, Punjab and abroad who have left their work to vote for Aneek. Its funny how people are not seeing that Aneek got the second highest International votes, while Raja was third in International voting. About taking leaves and voting, lots of Raja fans too did it. It is quite obvious that Amanat got highest International votes and Pakistan votes comes in International votes. I fail to understand how people don't see these points. As a die-hard fan of Aneek, we worked really hard. I would have never known how much it takes to make a person win if I would not have been involved in his community this time. Rajas fan club was more than 2 times bigger than Aneeks. But, I have seen that lots of them wasting time in opening new threads and discussing things while, there we hardly any discussions in Aneek's community. We were busy tapping votes, campaning and voting for Aneek. Actually, there were lots of people who liked Aneeks singing and wanted to vote for him but, was not aware of how to vote or was note motivated to vote for him. We tried hard and made them vote for him, There is nothing wrong in that. We did our work silently. Lastly, I would say only one thing, when you have accepted to choose a winner by public voting, then you should never complain about it.
