The Grande Finale was unimpressive

Hi there world. I simply could not resist commenting on this poorly produced finale which, in my opinion, was anti-climactic, disappointing and highly misleading. Having enjoyed previous studio shows, I was expecting a high level of quality LIVE singing but unfortunately what I got in return were nothing but insubstantial and superficial performances that clearly demonstrated the inability of the SRGMP contestants to sing live.😡

It must be emphasized that the version I was subjected to was a mishmash of scenes edited to look like a defectively pieced jigsaw puzzle. The only glimmer of hope that I saw was in Mussarat's performance but due, unfortunately, to an editor (who obviously lacked basic training in editing musical concerts) even that light was cruelly snatched away from me. The producers of SRGMP clearly fail to understand the definition of "LIVE" broadcasting as I did not receive a live broadcast but a prerecorded version with the letters "LIVE" written in th top left corner-must obviously be the SRGMP definition.😕

Anyhow, as I watched the so called "Live" show, I also couldn't help but notice that the performances by the musical gurus were absolutely dire and they themselves were in serious need of singing gurus themselves. The irony of the show !!! 😆

Anyone else have the same thoughts and feelings/opinions on this one?

this comment is so true made in the previous post .. one of the only reasons i wanted to watch the finals was to watch mussarats performance but NO they just haad to cut it short
lol yah i can't believe they claimed it was a live show.. and then most contestants were lip syching which made it even worse .. i mean it wouldve been a 100 times better to watch if they werent lipsynching

It's either a lot of show and less heart or a lot of heart and less show.

The contestants had a lot of heart, no doubt. The people who put together the finals lacked the heart, however.

I have a friend majoring in broadcasting (she's not Desi) and she watched the finals with me.

Considering the finals were 4 hours, she was like "man, producing this must've taken forever. It takes a lot of work. Even 1/2 hour takes a whole lot of effort."

They made this thing so damned long that no dip it lacked the heart and viewer-attachment.

Basically, if you take on a big task with a lot of work to be done, it becomes a burden putting it all together and maintaining it.

So it means that they could manipulate the word "Live." Why could they not remove it or blank it rather than misleading viewers into thinking that it was "Live". Anyone out there have "Live" in a different position?
