lol, I remember that happening a couple times while I was in IF SRGMP...our names are too similar!

Anyway, back to the topic....I didn't cry either, but I have never cried listening to a song and very rarely even with sad movies. Don't worry, there's nothing strange about it...it's just that different experiences make different people emotional.

Hi shady, I didn't cry either so do not worry. You saw all those showman crying that was just an act, they are being trained for that. I was sad though, because Amanat was sad, I think He was missing his parents.

Shady, if it makes you any happy, I did not cry either- not for Amanat's version, not for Sameer's version not for Lataji's or Anup ji's version. However, simply loved the lyrics and the whole song, and apart from Lataji/Anupji, Amanat 's version touched my heart somewhere a lot, sameer's too actually was Ok, may be I became a little more quiet for a while , but nope, the tear glands surely were non functional..😆

You are not alone.. I didnt cry either.. Nor during sameer's performance and nor during Amanat's performance.. This is one of my fav song and I own it too.. I dont cry while listening to the original either..

Its about how one gets attached to the soul of the song..
