My Thoughts on SRGMP and The Winner

For a long time I've been observing what other people write about the
Saregamapa show. Today I broke the ice and decided to share a few of my own thoughts.

I don't know how many of us are aware that this contest is not just based on number of votes. The producers have the last say on who leaves. (If you don't believe me check the rules for voting). The Producers have the last say.

This means even if someone didn't have high votes, but they were bringing good ratings like Mauli. They will keep. Everyone knew she wasn't that great of a singer, but she stayed because she bought ratings and thats what the producers look for.

Everyone blames the judges specially Himesh, but they don't realize that he's just a judge who works for the producers. Every story line he gets told what to do. ie. (the whole aneek, amanat, sumehda). The producers keep a balance with vishal & shekar (who play the good cop) & Himesh who is the big mouth. Just for the ratings they setup the whole story over the National anthem. They were told what to say. Each one of the pakistani contestant would speak one by one as if it were rehersed. Remember when Bappida left because of Mauli, I mean come on that was such a setup. They wrote "To be continued..." Its like a soap opera.

Moving on to my point basically its up to the producers who they will Hype up. All the judges will come on stage for that person and he will be number one. If you noticed whenever a contestant is about to get kicked off he leaves with a singing contract in hand, or sometimes with an excuse of a throat infection the week before.

Now moving on to who will win?
Most probably Raja
Not because of his singing skills, but because he fits the story. Since the show is based in India, They definitely want someone from India. Therefore RAJA HINDUSTANI. A poor kid from Hindustan who made it big. They would never let someone from another country win the contest. Its bad for the countries image. Don't get me wrong he can sing, but hes not the best. He lost to amanat and then was voted back in. 2 times he forgot his lyrics. Everyone knows hes more of a Sufi singer, just like Mussarat. which is one type of genre, Raja isn't an all rounder. On the episode when he sang Dard-E-Disco Himesh said you outdid Aneek. he replied and said "Sir I can't sing that type of song." Anything high pitch he will do well in. When he sings low tone songs his words aren't clear. Name me one low voice song from Rafi, or sonu he has sung and gotten praised for. Not once. What Raja does really well is he gets the crowd moving with his dancing skill, and verbal skills.You will see for yourselves even if Raja wins. Soon You will get tired of his voice.

Aneek is also a really good singer I would prefer him over Raja to win. In the competition they favor him a lot as well. Couple of times I've
noticed he starts to sing and before he even finishes the song Himesh gets up on stage for no reason to promote him. His voice kinda sounds immature as someone said. Keep in mind Aneek came in the middle of the show. His singing in the classical rounds wasn't really extraordinary.

Facts Why Amanat Deserves to Win (Even though I know Raja probably will win)
1) He has been there from beginning and stuck it out till the end.
2) From day one this kid has sung every song almost perfectly.
3) His Sur placement is better than anyone in the show. The most compliments.
4) If you go back and watch the shows with out the hype everyone else gets He got the highest marks.
5) He can play the Piano, tabla, dholak and many of other instruments.
6) Amazing performances like "Kadi aa mil", "Yeh Hosla", "Rasme Ulfat", "Jhonka hawa ka", "tu cheez badi hai mast mast", "udde jab jab zulfein teri", Chori Chori, Mora saiya, Dil Lutiya, ajab si ajab si, Tujhse Naraz Nahi

Ismail Darbar in his own words said "What can I teach this kid, He already knows everything."

Jagjit Singh & Pandit Jasraj said that "Amanat should be the winner and he is number 1 on our list."

Ismail Darbar (one of the best composers) said "Amanat knows more about music then he does."

Himesh who doesn't promote Amanat because of Aneek said "That two times you have been declared the winner".

Vishal & Shekar said (3X) "You are above this contest".

Diya Mirza: "She said that if we are honest and know what a touching performance Amanat gave, every Indian should vote for Amanat other wise a big injustice will happen." props to Mas999

Vishal- "We're not even capable of giving you marks"

Vishal and Shekhar clearly said "Amanat is the most versatile singer on Sa re ga ma pa." props to shiverz

Shekhar said in the chakarvyuh round, after listening to his "Yeh Honsla" that "I'm proud of being in this show because of ur performance. props to Andy

In the last episode, ARA said "Last time, when u sang Mitwa, at the end u took a sur, which was divine and it felt that it just came to u coz a lot of ppl can't do it" props to Andy

Ismail darbar, in his interview, said "If Amanat wins, that'll be the first right win in any musical contest" props to Andy

Its okay to be fans of Aneek and Raja, but now with all those reasons given. When something is so clear cut I don't know how people can say someone else deserves to be the winner.

You know what I agree with you 100%... I noticed Amanat doesnt get dat much attention.. I mean when he sings... I feel so bad for him.. Like he knowz he is going to cum 3rd in da voting so he has no hope.. I feel so bad.. I mean seriously..... 😭 😭 Even after he sings so well ppl just dont seem to notice dat..

All Aneek does is flirts with EVERY girl on SRGMP.. I mean who did he not leave...

i ll Compeletely Agree with You.if we talk about versitality,only Amanat comes in in My Mind.i Also agree that Amanat will be a Busiest singer in future Because sometime when i listen Aneek its reminds me of sonu Nigam which is far better singer than Aneek .Vishal-shekher said in OSO episode that only Aneek can sing the Song " Agar main kahoon " from the movie OSO. then y they used Sonu Nigam voice in the movie? just because Aneek sounds like sonu nigam but he is NOT sonu Nigam.

at the same time Raja always tries Sikhwinder or Kailash kher Songs.and if you listen properly his low notes are terrible,even i ve noticed many time that raja is not singing this song (Khul kay) ,Raja is high Pitch singer just like Mussarat.if you have Kailash kher and sikhwinder,would you take a risk to give a song to Raja?


in the end in my HUMBLE opinion! in this Whole drama only Amanat is Compeletely Full Singer who can sing any type of songs.his Low notes are awesome for example (Hungama).i m not trying to prove that ANEEK AND RAJA ARE BAD SINGERS. most of the people specially young kids has been entertained by this whole drama of Annek and Raja but they will realize that someday when they will listen Amanat behind the mic in the recording studio More than Aneek and raja.

I think amanat is the most versatile...............

Amanat did have mistakes in some episodes like other s.. So he is not miles ahead ... Also remember, when Amanat does some mistakes we don't discuss that much and forget easily. But for others (specially Aneek) we never forget their mistakes, which is definitely a sign of biasness

Everybody is great in their own style of singing ...

IF U FEEL SO..THN HEAR RAJA'S AWARAPAN BANJARAPAN FRM JISM PROVIDED U KNOE DA MEANIN OF LOW NOTES..AS 4 BEING VERSATILE RAJA WILL SING BEST IF DA SONGS R NEW 1S(REMEM. WAT BAPPI SAID)U CN HEAR HIS VARIATIONS B IT OOPAR KHUDA OR SAIYYAN WHICH SHOWS HIS KNOWLEDGE OF MUSIC...ITS WRONG 2 SAY V DONT SUPPORT PAKISTANIS N ONLY INDIANS COZ. I WUD PREFER SHAFAQAT ALI 2 UDIT NARAYAN,ABHIJEET N KUMAR SANU..DUDE ONLY TALENT SPEAKS N RAJA IS DA BEST (HIS LOW NOTES HVE IMPROVED A LOT)
