The previous day to this episode Raja sang in a male and female voice, where he was highly complimented. But the next day when he was reprimanded, it was like dropping him from the sky all of a sudden, with no safety net. Mentors should not be too harsh, the producers took full advantage and amplified it by providing sound effects of a "registered seismic shockwave".

Raja ne jo gana male or female dono ke awaz me gaya tha woh VINIT ne c2005 me gaya tha.Secondly Raja can only sing in college tallent nights. He is only suitable for that and the people who calls Aneek copy cat of sonu he has sung the song of Mannadey ji. And he was awesome and when raja tried either then sukhwinder song usne mooh ki khayi hai. To isme Himesh ko gali dene se kya matlab.

when it comes to songs where you have to lower your pitch...as in the tone of the song........raja seems to struggle with it.......not that i think its bad...its just that when you see raja sing so well in really high-pitched/dance flavored songs you have this expectation that he'll do the same with songs where you gotta sing at a lower pitch.....which i find he doesn't do at all.

i don't honestly feel that you need to have an all-round versatility in songs nor do you even need any type of versatility at all to succeed in bollywood....himesh is a perfect example of that.

i think raja will do really well in the music industry....with the genre of songs that he sings (quasi-songs......man these songs rock when you out going to clubs and having a good time dancing)..........

with respect to this tournament however...i think its designed to observe who has the most versatality in music which unfortunately raja loses in this case.

i do not think that amanat nor aneek have complete versatility in music because they both are still too young for that aspect to come about

but they both definitely have a lot of versatility in their songs to come close to complete versatility........they both have more upside in their music as grow older and develop their voices...

i think what's ultimately against raja is that he's 25 turning 26 soon...........so his voice has completely developed so he doesn't have a solid chance at diversifying his voice quality with respect to different type of songs.

Couldn't have said it better !!!👏 👏 👏...The most unbiased and level headed post in this otherwise calumniatory bash-fest of a thread!!!...From the commercial point of view, versatility is not at all a sine qua non !!..What is most important is that the singer should have his signature and unique voice,a voice which cannot be replicated,a voice which can translate the poetry in paper to music by lending the idiosyncratic flavour,a voice which would be best suited to vocalise the lyrics, evoking the required mood ,underscoring the finer nuances!!.....In Bollywood,it would do well to have a limited but unique voice than a voice which render any song flawlessly but having no extraordinary distinguishing characteristic of its own...Such voices would take a long, very long time to establish...

Wow. After reading all the comments here i am glad im not a aneek fan. There's so much negativity about Raja. Just wish all the three singers all the best for their future since all three are superb. And as for Raja's voice....you all know that its outstanding and so so so strong.

The only problem here is that ppl expect too much from him....hez too good to be in the show i guess..

Lets see what happens....jiske ke kismat mey jeet hogii wahii jeetaygaaa

You're SO right!!...So much negativity levelled against Raja especially...Both Amanat and Aneek fans are having a go at Raja, totally unfair!!

The problem with Raja is that som of his performances are so goddamn good,so frigging excellent that people expect the same every time he sings....Just like with AR Rehman..Some of Rehman's compositions are timeless masterpeices, that people expect him to come up with such magic everytime!!

it is not that Raja is a bad singer, but Aneek and Amanat are better than him. I think Mussarat was also better than Raja.

What the tongue speaks, what the mind thiinks and what the fingers do on the key board are often not consistent as it is all for fun and we often disagree to see the reaction of the others. I love all three singers and have enjoyed their performances and we cannot do without any of them. Even if any of them do not sing well there is no reason to bash or talk bad about them. Their mistakes are minor and overall they are very good. Peace be with you.
