What happened to her? I remember she was really good, won for about was it 16 weeks straight? That's where Nihira first competed against her. I wish SRGMP could go back to the old format for those of us who appreciate great music and keep the Challenge series for entertainment purposes only.

Instead of raising Indo-Pak issues and issues of ethnicity let us vote for Amanat and let our voting do the talking. I am sure he has looooots of fans in India or he wudnt have gotten so far in the competition and I am one of them. India is a democracy and a very good one at that. Very unique and beautiful. We do have a very large heart and welcome people from all walks of life, ethnicities, and countries (unlike other orthodox countries with dictatorships or one religion dominated states) though we do have our share of problems but we dont generally let it affect us overall. I am sick and tired of people raising unwanted issues like this when we should be discussing music. Just like we adore Amanat others out there have a right to have their own favorites and vote for them any number of times they like, so if you really like him vote, vote, and vote more that will help.

PS the last time the champion of the laughter challenge on Star One was a Pakistani. I am sure he did not have regional, ethnic, relegious pockets of fans in India either but true fans who appreciated his comic timing and I dont even know if voting was international. I think it was based solely on Indian votes. So much for bias.😳

I hope u r true n people do think like u n vote for Amanat......😳😳I luv u so much....

I don't think you have been following SRGMP for a long time or else you would have known who Dr. Neha was. Ask any SRGMP old timer.

I am sure that not too many people will know about her here, and that is because not many people are here for the sake of music. They are here because either they find Junaid cute, Aditya dashing, Sekhar handsome, or Mauli hot. Or they are here because they loved Sumedha's dress today, or loved Amanat's spiked hair.

Ask anyone who is here for the music and has been following SRGMP from the begining, they will know who Dr. Neha, Bela, Sanjeevani, Md.Vakil, Parthiv, Sneha, Shreya, and Mukund are.

The good old days when SRGMP was a genuine music show. Don't forget Kunal as well. Bela Shende loved her voice and especially from Paheli's Khali Hai Tera Bina.

Dr. Neha won that is true but at that time there wasn't public voting, she was selected by judges.

Dr. Neha Rajpal and she won this series called "Popular Choice Series" where all the popular contestants from many seasons were brought in to compete and she won amongst them. She was really really good.

Btw, she only won amongst the girls and also she was chosen by the judges not by the public.

One last thing about Neha Rajpal.... amongst her many wonderful renditions one was "Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai" and she sang it 100 times better than Sumedha. No offense to her fans as I think Sumedha is a decent singer as well but this is just my opinion.

I concur 100% with your thoughts. I remember in one of the episodes of II3, Javed Akhtar said "The public is not judging based on their ears but rather based on the eyes." So true. Most people here vote on the person who is the prettiest, or the hottest, or the cutest, or looks the most innocent rather than the one who sings the best.

Agree 100% with your thoughts and Appada's.True, talent takes a backseat while other trivial things take over and we end up compromising on quality..
