To vote or not to vote-what is the basis

Question : What should our voting be based on? Previous performances of a participant or that week's performance?

....Every week we see one elimination until we reach the topper of the show.

....Every week many a heart brekas seeing their favorite get eliminated.

....Every week we see two performances to help us vote for these participants.

....Every week, even though all these performaers are all at par, talent wise, yet one or two has a bad day for whatever may be the reason, while some perform really well.

...Every week we hear from the fans that they have been very good and deserve to be in .

But making way for one such performer would mean eliminating anothe rone who may have performed better that day....and mind you talent wise they are all at par now....

Now I want to know one thing from the members here - What should our voting be based on at this stage - a performers previous performances or that current week's performance which may or may not have been the best....

In an ideal world, it would be based on the current day's performance.

I rarely vote for anyone on the show. At max, I have given 5 online votes to one or two contestants who performed exceptionally well that day.

People vote for the contestant whom they like/adore/love/care about..That will based on all the performances they have seen.

Sachin Tendulkar can be sick on a day, doesn't mean his bad performance on that day make him a lesser batsman..Same way, people can have problems with their throats on a given day, so it should not be taken into account, if they have consistently given good performances..

In an ideal world, your last performance should count.... and in an ideal world no body will be sick also, so no problems with throats, anxiety etc etc 😃

Since voting is based on two performances of friday and sat, it's ok if one performance is not that great. If both performances are not up to the mark than I don't vote for them. Because they already got that second chance.

If both performances are extraordinary than I vote more for that contestant 😃

Actually I didnot vote this weekend as I am scared of doing unjustice to someone..... not that my voting would have any bearing to the outcome.

I feel we should take overall performance of the contestents and not just how they performed the last time. We all have our good moments and bad moments and we cannot have an A+ all the time. I think the contestents are under tremendous pressure right now. Mentors like HR donot help in boosting morals of contestents e.g. Raja or Poonam.

They are all great participants and good luck to them all. 👏 👏

Till now I have not voted for anyone in any reality show - I mean this year and this season..

First of all there shouldnt be public voting at all.. We saw the result of public voting recently 😭 I know you all will understand what I am talking about.. 😭 😭 Ban public voting 😡

Coming to the point - Baring few of them, none vote based on the previous performances.. People select the contestants and become their fans and start voting for them.. I doubt even if they actually listen to the performances before voting

I take into account who among my fav dont have a reliable vote bank & out my money out for that contestant... I have spend SMS votes (Not much though.. around 5 a week) on Amanat, Harpreet, Junaid & Poonam so far on this show. For now I know Aneek has a fair fan base so he would safe until finals so I voted for Amanat alone this week.I also make it a point to vote online for anyone who performed exceptionally well that week..

I did vote for Vinit in C 05 and for Raja in C 07. I think it should be based on all the performances of a contestant becoz someone or the other may have a bad day or a bad week but that doesnt label him as an incapable singer he/she are capable of doing a gr8 job is prooved in their earlier performance so one day's performance shouldnt be counted.

Now, there is no multiple voting on line anymore.
