it's definitely frustration. but i think we'd be wrong if we assumed aditya narayana is THAT much better than shaan that he wouldn't say something similar. he's a novice and his show is doing well. why would he? that would be a career-breaker.

besides i don't know about the rest of you but his comments kind of made me curious about II and SVOI...I've seen some of the earlier episodes, but now I'm curious to watch those. Perhaps that was the desired effect?

Well,I tend to agree with what Shaan has said about srgmp.I have heard so much of sufi music in last two months, thanks to srgmp.Overdose of sufi music!Piya re piya re type of songs have been stuck to my head for long long time.There is no fun left in srgmp.Even though they have very good singers like Amanat,aneek sumedha etc,it is not giving pleasure because of their songs choice. I just have to say here that Amanat, poonam , Sumedha or Aneek never sang sufi songs as far as i remeber!! Only Mussarat and raja are sufi singers because they have that kind of voice quality. and u heard all the sufi songs caz Mussarat was singing them since he couldn't attempt anything else thanks to his Guru!! plus they have sung old songs, only last week they had black& white era where they sang all the old songs wonderfully. Plus they also had the comedy round where they again sang most old songs!! So we can't say that they don't sing old songs. It just that they sing according to the theme.Don't forget that he acknowledges that Amanat,raja and sumedha are very good singers😊 He said poonam, not Sumedha..let's get some facts right, shall we!😉

Shaan's interview I think is an attempt to garner public interest for his current show and all this talk is all publicity stunts . I really wish he did not have to resort to this kind of gimmick . negative publicity may pique the interest of a few gossip scavengers for a while ,but in the long run it throws poor light on the one speaking thus...
