People forget that Sukhwinder himself is one of the most versatile singers on the scene today. Not everyone sings for A.R.Rehman so consistantly.

As for Kailash Kher - he really arrived on the scene after the Swades song and Mangal Pandey. (Allha ke bande didn't really get him offers immediately). For those who talk about Kailash Kher jonar - where was the bloody jonar before Kher arrived? The fact is people compose songs (and jingles) SPECIFICALLY for Kailash Kher.

And people think Sonu Nigam is versatile. Give me one song he has sung for a non-chocolate looks hero. Give me one song of his where it isn't lip synch-ed.

Not that Nigam isn't one of the best singers around - but the fact is there are compositions that suit voices. And it is for everybody - including Sonu, Sukhwinder and Kailash.

If you want versatility in your terms - turn to Sudesh Bhosle. Or better Johnny Lever.

he isn't versatile. His voice is made for unconventional kind of songs. and there is no shame in that. he is gr8 👏

Well, I think he has a limited range but he is great in that..and his speciality is that he sings any song in his way and so it seems so natural and not a bit superficial (whereas Aneek though is versatile, his singing is not always natural, it seems superficial sometimes)

I think people are expressing their opinion about RAJA
it is not bashing.
In begining he sang sukwindhar and kalish song few time
and gave impression that he can sing like sukwindhar and kalish only.
when he tried other type of song he was either week or he flopped on it
His performance was not superb consistantly like other singers. and here is a cometation. it has to be judge by comparing him with other on any given week

Raja sang Maa Tujhe Salaam and it was definitely NOT a kailash kher or a sukhwinder number and it was supposedly one of Raja's best performances.Right?
