abid, my response was specifically to your 'poorest person' comment which i felt was slightly demeaning to aneek. how the other points you've mentioned are connected to that comment, i fail to see. i'm sorry if i've missed out on something there.

about the direct entry, we're really flogging a dead horse.. long dead actually. but still, if you want to, then here goes. aneek was NOT responsible for the direct entry. zee committed to srgmp bangla and marathi winners that they will be given direct entry to srgmp vishwaydh 2007 and it was told at the beginning of the show. so aneek (and abhijit) did not just saunter in the studio like a walk in the garden and start singing. he was officially brought in by zee. however fair or unfair that decision may seem to ppl, it WAS zee's decision and NOT aneek's personal choice. so pl direct all your rants at zee cos of their faulty format/policy. blame zee all you like but pl don't blame aneek (or abhijit the marathi winner) for something they had no control over.

also, many ppl say amanat too won srgmp dubai but had to compete from the beginning in vishwayudh. well there too i see zee at fault. if they could promise marathi and bangla winners a direct entry, who stopped them from promising the same to the dubai winner too? after all, they make their own rules.. it's their show.

How long it took you to write all that I was lost in the middle, however you wrote one thing which I forgot to write was that it was Zee Tvs fault. But to end the conversation He is a good singer I got nothing aginst him. But he doesn't deserve to win.

1. Has strong hold over sur/tal & give consistently good performance
2. Has a great voice
3. Is versatile & can sing across genre comfortably.
4. A good performer who can entertain the crowd

Aneek does not have as good a voice as Amanat & Amanat is not as good a performer as Aneek..In all other depts they are well matched. They stand out as the most consistent & the best singers in the show and a final between them wud be the best thing that can happen to this show!

After Mussarat as long as Amanat wins I have no problem.

Jaadoogar, he is a kid & he himself knows his voice will take sometime to mature. He is a very talented singer & will excel in few years. If you notice Aneek said" I hope god gives me a good voice in few yrs so I can sing play back for him". He is an awesome singer & wud do very well at playback once his voice matures

I am not sure whether Aneek has given playback or not but the competition is not any easier in Bengali either. We can just take a note of bengali speaking participants in any singing competition and we can say that their is no shortage of singers there. The bengali singers that sing in hindi also sing in bengali as well and add to that the ones that sings in bengali alone!

I agree with the theory that aneek would probably won't win the challenge, and there are several reasons for it. It's not that i don't want him to win or i don't like him, but the way things are going i don't see him as a winner. I think him already being a winner of srgmp bengal will play a major role in that. I agree with several other ppl that zee won't like him to win this challenge when he has already won in a previous one. I want to believe it that zee is not manipulating the votes, but the way the contestants have been eliminated it's hard to for me believe that the channel goes by the public voting. Will see how the things unfold in next couple of weeks. 😊

I am torn between wanting Aneek to win and HR to lose!

Look aneek is not as good as raja amanat or poonam. Plus HR is irritating and aneek plays along with HR. so they both deserve to go.

You must be crazy...you need to get some serious lessons in music....

Aneek is a clasically trained singer....

HR's gimmicks is sidelining the true potential he has....you should have watched Bangla Saregamapa...the standard is a lot higher than the one aired on the national network....

he's in the same league as the top singers in the country today and according to shekhar he's the best singer in the country today. aneek def deserves to win.

now, as far as the votes are concerned, the reasons he may not win are:
1. his star appeal
2. his choice of songs
3. him trying to be a performer - takes away his focus

as far as HR is concerned, he will now pay more attention to aneek, since he doesn't want to lose out again this year. he's annoying, but he's a strategist.
