I just watched Debu and Aneek singing in the Taj show. Aneek was miles in front. His Chanda dhal ne lage, is so beautiful, any women would fall in love with the voice and the rendition. Hard to believe one so young can be so fantastic. But then he is a prodigy.

please the boy hasn't gone off sur even once in the entire contest.. not once that i know of. nor has any knowledgeable person convinced me of it nor has any of the judges ever said it to him. so i really fail to understand when did you all find him going off sur. care to enlighten the rest of us.. with specific instance(s) please??

abt fast songs, in my judgement singing a fast song, that too live makes it that much more difficult for a singer to hold his sur and taal.. without losing breath. only a singer with real mettle can come out tops.. rest will fumble and fall. i'm sorry to say that i found mussarat struggling and even amanat struggling (for breath, not sur) in fast numbers like 'to phir aao' and 'chori chori chupke se' respectively. compare with aneek's 'mast kalandar' which is fast, high pitched and sung by not 1 but 3-4 singers. and the kid didn't lose his breath once, didn't lose his sur, got all the harkats right, jumped around with so much energy and gave an electrifying performance!! 👏👏

yaar, ppl don't like his singing, fair enough. no one's forcing you all to. but pl, agar bash karna hai to kam se kam valid points pe bash karo 😛

ya I agree....

I'm not hating on Aneek, but the way things are going, I'm seeing him in a light that I don't want to see him in.

Both Aneek and Mussarat are in the wrong Gharana...

They are in the right Gharana.. Himesh is creating just the right amount of hype. In todays world one cant survive on just talent, adequate promotion and hype is needed..which is provided by the star status of Himesh. So, they both are gainers.

Hey Guys, Aneek is one of the BEST singer in the SRGMP. He has full range and notes are quite solid. His Voice will suit any leading star of the Industry. Try to listen to his Audio (no vdo) then you would realize how sweet he sings. He is quite good in the base side (Kharaz) and mid range is just fantastic. High end is not bad at all. So what else we are looking for.....ROCKET?

godddddddddddd 😕 ...all u aneek bashers r takin out ur fustration cause even d audience hav proved adat anneek is d best.... 😉 all u people who think anek has lost his sur in ny song must consult a doctor AT ONCE 😳 ...otherwise no one will be able to cure u...n aneek is the most VERSATILE 👏 👏 👏 singer of d show...thers hardly ny genre which he has nott attempted..if dont like nyone fine..but dont make a fool out of urselfs by postin such stuff..

sorry but anneek is my fav dats why i couldnt tolerate ny1 bashin him.....n yes if he uttered diff lyrics its not called pronunciation mistakes dear... 😉

This guy will go places..he has a very bright future..my predictions never go wrong....

All his performances so far has been close to perfect (of course with some exceptions here and there and that happens with everyone)..he never forgot his lyrics, always performed with a a lot of enthusiasm....his renditions were absolutely fantastic

Most importantly he survived and never lost faith after the intial Ismail Darbar drama (the wild card entry...although it was announced at the beginning of Saregamapa 2007)

After all he is the winner of Bengali Saregamapa....and belive me it is a very tough competition to win out there....

Whether he wins this contest or not is immeterial...the world does not end here....but he is a born star and those who are critcizing him at the moment will change their opinion.....

Even Amitabh Bacchan wasn't spared when he was thriving to make his mark....

I strongly believe critics are our best friends'..the only thing is how you percieve it...if in a positive manner you are bound to make a mark....if in a negative manner then in that case you are doomed....

Hope Aneek takes all this criticism in a positive manner.

^^^ welcome jyoti ji.. good to see your first post in support of our little royal bengal cub! 😊 he needs all the support he can get.. not for any hype/drama, regionalistic or jingoistic reasons, but purely for his singing prowess. yahan par logon ke mann mein uske liye kuch zyada hi negativity hai..

although i've not seen bangla srgmp, i do watch marathi srgmp and they've similar standards.. so i know they are both very tough contests with absloutely none of the hype n hoohaa but some real hardcore singing and real tough judging.. 👏 so anybody who's won these has to have a lot of merit. i think abhijit too was a tremendous singer (saw some of his marathi performances - wow!!) par i guess wo yahan paer nahin jama paaya.

i too made a similar prediction about aneek when i saw him perform for the first time.. good to see you felt the same 😊 totally with you on this.. aneek is definitely star material! ⭐️👏👏
