You can love the guy or you can hate him. But the truth is he is the king when it comes to understanding the public emotions. People cursed him for his "nasal singing" but he turned out to be a winner. Then he turned to acting and inspite of his quite ugly looks and poor acting capability he gave one of the biggest blockbuster of the year.

Last year he pulled Vineet to the finals just with one love story, and this week the "so called" love birds are on the top three positions. Aneek was always in the top but what about Amanat and Sumedha? He managed to increase their popularity with one love story and now they on the top 3.

What's your take on this?

Is Himesh a genius when it comes to understanding public emotions?

I believe Amanat on top has nothing to do with that stupid story.. as contestants get eliminated thier votes go to another singer.. and this case Amanat is getting thier support. As for sumedha she gave her best performance last friday

I agree with you to some extent. The public buys these dramas.

The triangle can only hype them to a certain degree. But
their performances would definetely have to be given their due. Amanat rocked the Akshay episode and Aneek was also good. Sumedha performed the best of the girls, her chup ke se was really good and gilla had style.

Does that mean that Amanat and Sumedha sang bad when they were in the trishanku. Mauli is still here after her "wonderful" performances of Taal se taal mila and the song from Swades. She even managed to be top 3 after one of these performance.

Come on, most people doesn't care about singing. Amanat was trishanku after one of his best performance. I don't remember which one, could be "Yeh Honsla".

that's strange, because i thought the love story made aneek very unpopular. and swifthorse has a point too. it could be tht as junaid was eliminated, i a lot of his fans started voting for amanat.

but whatever the reasons, i'm happy that 3 genuinely talented singers are in the top 3. 😊

aneek and ammanat deserves to be in top 2 !! but not sumedha !! sumedha se acha he raja ya mussarat i will prefer mussarat and it has nuthin to do wid this love triangle thingy ! cuz nobody is sure if itz sumedha or mauli !! itz all about fan following

Amanat's song got him the top slot, not his singing. Tu cheez is one of the biggest chartbusters ever, (though I cannot stand it but that is another matter).

As for Aneek, he has his state solidly behind him. He will always be in top 3 and go on to win.

Sumedha was truly professional standard with Chupke se. So that was well deserved.

I really hope HR doesn't think his love story dramabaazi is working although I'm afraid he does.
For me it is a big put off - not from the singers but from HR - but then I never liked him anyways.
I am glad to see the deserving singers in the Top 4 for the very first time.
