LOL it was the very first time he's written a song on his hand [ correct me if i'm wrong ]
and if u notice, those qawali words r pretty hard to remember
but anywayss i dont see anything wrong in writing the lyrics on ur palm
dunno y shekhar was making a big deal out of it with raja 😕

and yeahh he always has his hand up like that guess that's his style

Ok if junaid writes the lyrics in his hand whats the big deal.

When you are in a recording studio you are given the lyrics. NO point on arguing about this. this is plainly stupid. Junaid is the best. Mods close this topic.

😆 whatever...like they say..ishq aur jung main sab jaayaz hai....yeh singers ka singing ka ishq hai and the competetion is their jung.....let them do all dramebaazi 😛 ...yea but i dun think there is any harm in writing the lyrics on hand 😕 it's very obvious u tend to forget things when ur on stage.......the world looks totally different frm the stage ......so it's okay if they have some solution for their disturbed concentration while on stage 😊

Did not quite get what is your point? Everyone noticed that. So, what's the big fuss about it. VS pointed Raja or not, Junaid or not, that's their wish. Did anyone from other gharana objected? Usually Quwali songs are to huge(not just 6-8 lines),so anyone can seek help who never sang or remember the full song before.

By the way, Junaid did not miss any line. There was an alap which he did not continue, he missed the pace for seconds. Though he really looked exhausted other than that small part he did a great job. But people are really after him(one has to go from VS gharana to balance, may be that's the case)that they are not showering points on him. Junaid and Poonam looked so low after their performance, they were not credited with what they deserved. Junaid kept his head lower through out the show. Poor him!

theres nothing bad about writing the lyrics on ur hand, the lyrics were complicated during the qawaali round, so not a big fuss!

no he doesn't do that all the time this was the first time. last week he had his hand close to the mic but he had his eyes closed pretty much the entire time..so he coldnt be reading...thats just how sometimes he puts his hands

This is a singing competition and not a test where people have to remember the lyrics. Writing the lyrics on his hand is not going to help him with his sur and taal, so I don't see anything wrong with that.
