No elimination in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa this week
For the first time, there will not be any elimination in Sa Re Ga Ma this week. All the three Pakistani contestants were in the danger zone but it was decided unanimously by the mentors that all three will stay on.
Ismail Darbar, one of the mentors, defended the decision saying, "After three hours of discussion all of us - production, channel and mentors – came to the conclusion not to eliminate anyone this time."

But will this not be unfair on the earlier contestants who were eliminated? "They have a right to think so but next week onwards we will again start elimination according to public votes. So people should not feel that we are not taking their votes into consideration. The thing was that we did not want to spoil India's image as they are our guests. When there is any problem you naturally tend to solve it than making matters worse."
Are reports of the Pakistani trio refusing to sing Indian patriotic songs true? "I don't know who spread this rumour. If I would have known any such thing I would have announced the name of that contestant in the show. Media hyped it unnecessarily."
On Friday's episode all the three contestants explained their side of the story to the viewers and judges. All the other contestants got emotional when they heard this and the entire studio went silent. Aditya (host of the show) burst in the tears.
