Talking Point - Pakistani Patriotic songs

I would like to ask you all - would Indian singers in SAREGAMA sing Pakistani Patriotic songs? I don't think so, if I would have been at TRISHANKU's place, I would not appologise and clarify my point to anyone. I would rather come back to Pak instead of standing on the stage and telling Indian People that someone tried to make it up and please don't take me wrong.

I would respect the Country and would respect the Guru's and fellow contestants but would not give away my honour and integrity. Therefore I would like to say to you all people to be fair and just vote a good the talent not the Nationality.

i totally agree with u!!

The topic is gettin highlighted because its a indo pak issue.dont indians staying in US glorify US..kids in schools etc..i think jis desh mein rehte ho usko glorify karna is no big deal.If these guys get to work in bollywood,wudnt they sing a patriotic song if required?wont they b professional?See its a question of professionalism.so many ppl from other countries come to work in hollywood..russel crowe,nicole kidman..they too play the roles of american patriots in moviews.its work..nothing else.so wat if a paki sings an indian patriotic song or an indian a paki song.neways i think this episode was staged.i m sure it was zees idea to celebrate both independence day and hence made them sing.later some1 leaked out in media..for TRP..i m sure these guys wudnt have said "no"..that too when they have liked india so much..they wud have taken it cooly..neways thats my perception.i think if i go to pakistan for work and asked to sing a paki song,i wud b cool bout it..its not that i'll become unpatriotic to india by doing that

very well said.....i agree that this was all staged. also, i want to make a point here that if indian public didn't vote this week and the 3 contestants became "trisunku" then it means that indian public voted for them before this week and has been saving them over other "not so good, indian singers". Doesn't that show that there are people in india who really appreciate good, talented singers REGARDLESS of their nationality? We should all look at this incident positively! I also want to say that am an indian but ma most favorite contestant is musarat, and my family simply loves amanat. i want to see musarat reach the stardum one day, that's how much i like his singing.
