Aneek is a superb singer. Agreed!!!

But is it fair for him to be here? He skipped all the preliminary rounds and came directly to the galas. Is this fair for all other contestents?

During earlier rounds when Asha Bhonsle was judge, the way she took to task each and every one of them is unforgettable.

She said that you sing with E-kar not A-kar, you should keep towel in mouth and practice singing, your high notes were shaking, your mood in song was not good and so on. for some she even said that you should not end a song like that as its not allowed in our classical music. And poor contestents, those earlier rounds were like terror for them when they were singing RD Burman, Kishore kumar, Lata mangeshkar or Ashaji's songs.

Also Aneek has been singing only recent songs. I dont remember him singing any Mukesh or Kishore Kumar songs. Also if my memory is right he has sung the maximum Sonu Nigam's songs. Infact tomorrow also he is singing a sonu song.

Aneek might be good, but before voting for him I request people to think once about the contestents like Amaanat, Poonam, Harpreet, Mussarat or Raja who have undergone all those difficulties during earlier rounds, who have come in Ekalavya or Brahmastra and have struggled and worked really hard to reach the final agni parikasha.

There is no short cut to success!!! if this statement is right then Aneek does not deserve to be here. Just as Mauli should go is a truth so is this!!!!

If at all Zee wanted to give him a chance then they should have asked him to come first in Ekalavya gharana, prove himself and then reach the finals!!!!

Want only truly deserving candidate who has worked hard to win this YUDDH.

Laxmi I think I do partially agree with you....

Earlier rounds were scary....they had some real big names come and judge...

And then there wer people like Raja who got eliminated...struggled...and struggled...

Sure enough now he has turned out to be Khara sona.....👍🏼

But yes, in that sense Aneek had a cake walk....though in all fairness he has a very good voice.

I would love to see him pitted against Raja in finals....though Poonam is so versatile too....

Actually I am sure he sang many old Bengali songs to win the contest.

Aneek had to tough it out through the Bangla SRGMP episode and as a winner he was told that he would get into AgniPareksha. So as a condition of winning he was granted this. I personally think he had to tough it out in his own way. It is also unfair to question this now since that was the condition for him when winning.

Why do people only question Aneek. What about Abhijit? Is it because Abhijit was not as talented? Are you scared your favourite has to compete with such a versatile and talented singer. Well if your favourite is good enough they should be able to compete with anyone and if Aneek is good enough, he has the right to win according to me.

Fair or unfair, right or wrong, all that is history now. I guess your post is about 1.5 months late.😳

He is now in and despite a late entry he has established his position pretty well and is one of the contenders for the title.

Well, did the other contestants win the SRGMP bengali?? Did they go thru that process?
There's a reason he got the entry and thats because he proved himself in SRGMP bengali
And if you look at how people started, many many of these singers were weak...but his 'sadese aate hain" performance shows how hard he has worked and how much he has improved and thats why he's here

He deserves all the votes he's getting and he should continue to do so

I think all judges will agree he desrves to be in top 9 of SRGMP C2007

How does it matter whos song he sings? If the song fits his voice and he sings it well then that's all that matter. In 2005 Vinit sang Sonu and M. Rafi songs only...but he sang them all well. Yet people bashed him for that. It doesnt matter whos song he sings. Emon from II3 sings mostly Sonu songs because it fits his voice. This is not an exuse because he sang them ALL well.

And as for his A-Kar and E-Kar, well he is from Bengal and speaks Bengali so obviously their will be some differences in his pronounciation. It's not his fault. And I'm sure that he is working on it.

And of course the fact that he didnt start from the very begining as the others did. I'd like to point out that he did not go up to Zee and said "I'm Aneek and I won SRGMP Begnal through public votes and i should be SRGMP C'07 even though I did not go throug h auditions." Zee CHOSE to bring him over from Bengal to this compitition. If you had not known that he has already won in Bengal then would u vote for him?

There has already been much discucion on this matter. It's simple, if you think it is unfair then don't vote for him.

Going through auditions doesnt change the talent inside a person. And nor will it change Aneeks. He went through auditions in Bengal. He won. He going directly into Agnipariksha. It's fair. If any other contestant has already won somewhere else then y go through auditions?

Y are youn not bashing Raja. He has already gotten out. He came back through public voting.

The fact that he got a direct entry into agnipariksha still doesn't change the fact that he is one of the best contestants in the competition, fully deserving of winning the title.

People should not be voting for someone simply because they've gone through "hardships" to reach where they are, but solely on talent and ability regardless of how they have got to their position.

👏well said. I agree!

How many of the other contestants do you think could win an entire competition based mostly on the decision of judges? Zee Bangla has had Shipra Basu, Ravindra Jain, Tejinder, Ajoy Chakraborty, Mitali Singh, Banasri Sen, Talat Aziz, Usha Uthup and Shantanu Mitra among its panel of judges, which changes every week.
I guess winning Zee Bangla is by no means an easy feat to accompolish... so you can't call it a "shortcut". He has sung Mohd. Raffi songs as well, Chaand Mera Dil and Dil Jo Na Keh Saka.

"Aneek is a superb singer. Agreed!!!" That's why he has not been eliminated as of yet. He has received 10's from all the judges for Sandese Aate Hain. All of the judges personally asked the public to vote for him. Aneek sings Sonu Nigam songs but the other contestants, Mussarat sings Nussarat Fateh Ali Khan's Songs, Raja sings Sukwinder Songs, Mauli sings Sunidhi songs that doesn't mean they shouldn't get votes.

If Aneek is a "superb singer", entertaining performer
and
praised by the very judges that earlier felt he should not get entry into SRGMP

Than ofcourse he deserves to be in the competition and also the finals!!!
