i would like to initiate a discussion about POONAM.

a lot of people like her singing very much but i dont see many posts about her. praising her, appreciating her and admiring her. her VANDE MATRAM was AMAZING. and it got lost in the controversy and hype about other contestants. Just my feeling.

if you like to make positive comments about her singing please post here.

she seems like a simple girl who does not seem to have learnt to be politically correct or pleading in different ways. so her fans should promote her and support her.

Poonam is amazing. If a girl in any of these singing competitions has the talent to win, it's Poonam or Puja from II3 both of them have such power in their voices. Good luck to both of them.

it seems like poonam inspite of being the best singer does not touch people's hearts. today, august 17th, her performance was great but no ne seems to mention anything about her.

No, frankly speaking her voice was strained at high notes and her performance was just average today, nothing great..

She is the most consistant and correct singer. Mere Maula, Vande Mataram, Prem Nagar, and countess of her programs are worth watching. Today she was not as good as she normally used to be. But she was made to dance on stage for which she is not comfortable at all. On top of her continuous consistant performances her rude guru always scolds her and he even called her Bewakoof right on public TV. Also one has to realize the pressure she is in. She has to climb almost unsurmountable mound of popularity created by a very mediocre singer known as Mauli Dave. Despite of all that she has smiling face. Her voice is on the coarser side but very catching. I would like Poonam to win it all. But it may be asking for impossible..

Poonam is a good singer as well a human being, but no offense please Sumedha is the best one..She can simply sing a song with all variations and walk away without any strain and her voice soothes ears too...

Yes I totally agree. Poonam should win. She is a wonderful singer and her voice quality reminds me of Lataji.HIP HIP HURRAY TO POONAM

Poonam has been consistently giving good performance and [with varieties] for a change this time a female contestant shd win the challenge 2007 and that shd be poonam .[]in male it is amanat or aneek.
