I don't think so... and thats because she is the most strongest singer outa all the girls and that...everyone knows!!!

Just see her last two performances - laila mai laila (too good man)...and then Vande Matram (terrific singing)..

She doesn't need sympathy..If people sympathize then its ok but then it also insults her talent and capability..

Poonam is one of the best singer in the show. She is the only female singer I think shuld be there till finale.

I agree that she's a fantastic singer- but at the same time I do think that quite a few of them were sympathy votes
I know that because I found myself voting for her thinking about her past
That's why I really respect Joy- he didnt tell us about his illness and for that reason didnt get any sympathy votes
In addition, she was always a great singer...how come she wasnt top before?

Poonam is one of the best singers in C07, she does not need sympathy votes, and she gets her votes from her talent.

hello even i felt that she might hav topped becz of some sympathy votes as i was shocked to see how come people hav realised they sud vote 4 good singers but 4 ur kind im4mation the week poonam's story was told 2 public,it was mauli who god the highest votes ok.

n yes if u hav watched each and every episode u must hav watched shekhar saying that poonam has the stongest voice n she is the only female singer there who is ready 2 sing in the recording studio.

Poonam deserved what ever she got. She's immensely talented, and she totally deserved getting the highest amount of votes. I hope that she'll get a lot of votes for this week too, as she sang "Vande Mataram" amazing.

Yes she is very good singer, try listening to her song without sitting in front of TV, you won't realize its not original song. This is what happened with her Vande Mataram, I didn't realized that the show is coming as I was very busy, but I couldn't ignore the beautiful song and it sounded original. The voice quality was just perfect.

Please don't use the sympathy word, she got highest votes because of her singing, she is best female singer in the show.Among boys I think Raja and Amanat have very good voice and good command on their range.
