Well said... they showed her sob story the week before.. so she shd have topped the week that Mauli topped...if indeed they were sympathy votes... but instead it happened the next week.. She is good and I dont think they are sympathy votes at all

Poonam sings really well... Even if it is sympathy, I think she deserves it... I saw Poonam on Zee News today... They had her mom also on the show... And Poonam had adopted some baby girl earlier who is now 8 years old and she was also there... They were interviewing them - none of them could speak much and her mom was weeping, Poonam sang a few lines...

Ideally we should judge only based on their singing and nothing else. But this is not an ideal world and many different ploys are used for vote garnering. Someone gets votes because they are hot or cute, someone gets votes from a specific region, someone gets sympathy votes. So it happens with everyone, not just Poonam. She is a very good singer, even if she gets some sympathy votes, its well-deserved. 👏 I would like her to stay till the top three or four at least.

I do not at all buy the idea of this topic.

Poonam is one of the few singers in this SRGMP-7 who comes closest to being versatile, technically strong and who has the strongest voice. This way we can attribute anybody getting votes to factors not related to singing, which nobody can prove or disprove. This topic would have some validity if Poonam was not a good singer but the fact is that she is good.
