The thing with Junaid is that he's sorta inconsistent. I wouldn't disregard him as a bad singer, not at all. He does have a good and unique voice and he has sung some really good songs. To name a few-
Gustakh dil, Khali dil, Aisa Pehli baar, chahoonga main tujhe, ishq kabhi kariyo na, likhe jo khat tujhe (which I think was even liked by judges -esp Asha B.-...if im not wrong..or was it khali dil)..

So, point being, he isn't bad, but he definitely needs more practise. And as for comparing, I'm sorry but I don't think Raja can sing Gustakh dil or Aisa pehli baar hua hai like Junaid. Raja is an awesome singer, but the drawback with Raja is that he can also only sing certain types of songs...he isn't as versatile. So, each singer has their own comfort zone...and the judges don't mind Raja or Mauli or Musarrat's same type of songs...so atleast give Junaid a break, atleast he tried and doesn't just stick to what suits his voice all the time.

PS- I do love Raja and think he's one of the best, but what's true is true.

U r the first Junaid fan who actually talked sensably and accepted the fact that he needs to practice..that's all i have been saying for last one hour😆

Anyways..i do agree with u about Raja that he does sing almost same type of songs!! But i still like him caz he has that Kashish in his voice😆

Heh, well, I don't like being biased due to personal preferences and try to give credit where it's due. 😛 I definitely personally would love to see Junaid in the final, but I know there's others who are better than him and deserve to be there. However, I know that even after this show, Juanid's gonna reach his goals and dreams because from what I see, the guy seems really hardworking and dedicated. I think the one thing that makes me prefer him even more than I should over other contestants is the unfair treatment judges give him. Like today, Mauli was worse but they pleaded the public to still vote for her. For Junaid, all they did was give marks. No comments, no nothing. So obviously biased and unfair. That's what makes me feel for the guy even more, but I do think he's left somewhat of a mark with some of his performances.

i totally agree wit u, hes not much of a singer, except one or 2 songs he sang realli well, but other then that he shud be out this week for sure, others are much better then him, and maulis performance i was disappointed wit the independence day performance, i was hoping for so much more from her, but unfortunately it was pretti bad, hopefully she dos better next week

RAJA was AMAZINGGGGGGGG as always, the guy has got the title man, srgmp shud jus give it to him

ya i do agree..about judges and zee not promoting him well!! I wonder why Zee needs Mauli that bad, isn't junaid is the one who is getting the most international votes all these times??😕 May be they don't care because they are looking for one singer from each region for the finals, probably one from India, then one from Pakistan and then one from Overseas which has to be Maulli..yup this just made sense as i was typing!!

They will probably have

Aneek or Raja or Poonam from India

Mussarat or Amanat from Pakistan

Mauli from overseas

so then they can have votes from everywhere

That's true, Junaid has been getting the most international votes for the past 2 weeks. So if it's about nonsense reasons like money generating from smses and all that, they'd keep Junaid for a little longer and won't eliminate him just yet. But, I find all this so ridiculous. Is the show really scripted? I just wish we had fair decisions.
As for Junaid being not promoted at all- I dont know what's gone wrong all of a sudden but before, say maybe until 2 weeks back, all the judges actually used to like him and praise him. Now it's like they're all ganging up on him. And you know what, I'd take all that criticism if they were equally fair to everyone else, ESPECIALLY Mauli, who IMO, is the worse singer right now. But them not praising Junaid as much anymore pisses me off mostly because they disregard him but worship the contestant who's even worse than him.

You think they'll drag Mauli to the finals? I think the finals will be b/w an Indian and a Pakistani. But, isn't Amanat from overseas as well? I know he's from Pak but originally, he was an overseas contestant as well, no? Or was that just U.S. and all?

No u r right, Amanat is from Dubai..so technically he is from overseas..but if u remember in last episode, ID said that some people were complaining about why Amanat is being promoted as "Dubai ke Mahabali" even though he is from pakistan...after that Adi started calling him "Pakistan ke Mahabali" so i don't know wat they think of him as, from pakistan or overseas, lolz i am confused just typing all these 😆

lol yeah I remember that...but I think they still should consider him from overseas. Or atleast i want to, so that Mauli is out. Oh, something just occurred to me, do you think it's all scripted and that's why last week they changed Amanat's thing to Pakistan so that they can still keep Mauli as she's the only overseas left?

Junaid is a very talented singer and he has a very unique voice. Today wasnt his best performance but that doesnt mean that he isnt a good singer. Junaid is amazing and u cant compare him with mauli. Mauli needs to go out next. Junaid is one of the best singers their and im definitly voting for him. He deserves to be in the finale.

I disagree, Junaid is a very good singer , i really like him, she sings really well, he also can be really versatile, still he sings well 👏

As far as Mauli is concerned then i agree she has to now, i dont like the way the judges are , in spite of her bad performances, giving her good marks.
