i think raaja is very good but he needs low note clarity it is a must to be good singer his high notes r very good and he needs to get talafuz better but is very good otherwise he is right now very popular but i think personally amanat is very good -----his ae mere watan was exceptional and most underrated singer in saregamapa is harpreet ---i am saying form my heart no prejudice i have no favourite i like good singing ---

He sounds the same whatever the reason may be. It makes it monotonous. I want to hear a distinctive style in the singing which each song deserves. I am not asking him to mimic but to sing according to the song's demand.

hahaha...................... so you think he is not singing the song's according to its demand!hmn...................so what exactly are you proposing he should do to overcome his monotonous performence! 😊

Since you have been so brilliant identifying his monotonous performance you must have clear idea as well where he is going wrong and how it could be prevented. 😉

Can u mention any of the current heroes where he fits in? He just reminds me of Sufi singers like Kailash .. and u all know how many songs Kailash sings in a year and what type of songs they are .. Raja cannot be a playback singer with his unique tonal quality .. sorry to say that

U know what I could have been there too .. but as u know sometime people get on typical track sometime forced by situations and cannot wave their wings .. I am kind of that ... but now its too late for a family person to take such bold steps .. for instance I am currently in my office doing weekend work then also keeping an eye on who says what about whom ...

i think Raja is a very good singer...but at times he gets a lot of attention which makes it seem as if hes the only good singer there!...but i think Raja lacks versatility .....there are many other singers who try their best at variety but dont receive that much attention like Raja... and honestly, i think his voice quality makes him limited, because i cant see him singing a Sonu Nigam or a Shaan song, due to his voice quality/tone!....its more of a Kailash Kher/Sukwinder Singh type of voice.....

overall, in my opinion, Raja is a good singer but he receives more attention than he deserves.

Its the "unconventional" (sorry, couldn't think of a better word) songs that are becoming raging hits nowadays, not necessarily the conventional playback songs. Sufi songs are popular in playback music circuit now. He may not become a Sonu Nigam or Udit Narayan but Raja could make his mark in playback music too. Same applies to Mussarat.

SAREGAMAPA is looking for a good singer not a good PR.... he talks TOOOOOOOOOOOOOO artificial...... TOOOOOO sweeet.

Really and what about the attention given to Ms. America...and she cannot even sing... Raja gets attention which is due to him because of the immense talent he has and he speaks with total humility which you term as "artificial" I guess in this day and age one doesn't see that too much so it's not recognisable for many people. I think Raja's the best and more power too him!!!!

i have one small request, when someone doesnt like someones views, dont try to force them to change their views, ignore the posts and move along. dont get into argument. dont ask such immature questions. there are members who have praised the contestant including me and if they dont like their performance they would criticise them later on. this forum is to post opinion whether the contestant is good or bad, not everyone has the same choice, so please bear with it. thank you😊.

i found raja excellent, however i also found poonam excellent and i wished these judges could have asked poonam and amanat to sing "once more"
