Please check the quote I underlined. We are here discussing about Raja and no one love triangle. For god's sake people should stop bringing her mention too. What I said is 100% right whether you or I compare Mauli gets appreciated by everyone who comes as a judge. So either all of them are deaf or we are wrong. Now let us go back to main thread. Shall we?

Raja was doing well when he was not in the limelight but off late he seems monotonous. I didn't enjoy his last two renditions. I am yet to watch independence special so would comment on that later. He is at par with other contestants but lack versatility. I hope to see his variant tonal quality range.

ok yaar I got your catch! non of the Mauli fans likes Raja and the obvious reason is He sings in sur/tal/laya! the way one can not be both in the south pole and north pole, people loving besurapan would get bothered by surila singers and thats natural!😉

SAREGAMAPA is looking for a good singer not a good PR.... he talks TOOOOOOOOOOOOOO artificial...... TOOOOOO sweeet.

Are you kidding me..? 😕.. He is getting all that appraisal because he deserves it..! His performance today was amazing..! He has consistently given great performances.. 👏 I dont think anyone could have done justice to AR Rahmans Vande Mataram as he did.. his high notes were just too gooood.. i listened to it 10 times already.. 👏

I second that as he has sang songs form every genre (there is topic on this forum about this matter, please find that before you make any further comments) and he did outstandingly well executing every single song! If you think raja is sounding same it is because of his rustic voice which very distinctive that it feels as if he is signing similar type of songs.

I was one of the members who actively participated in that thread. Please refer it before quoting me😊. You will know what I meant by tonal quality. That is exactly what I wrote. He sounds the same whatever the reason may be. It makes it monotonous. I want to hear a distinctive style in the singing which each song deserves. I am not asking him to mimic but to sing according to the song's demand.
