Raja is talent personified. Like somebody just wrote he takes suicidal risks attempting such high notes which none of the other contestants do. He is an absolute top class singer and if he is always no. 1 then that's because people can judge for themselves and Himesh Reshammiya's choice of words is poor English vocabulary.

Raja i think is very talented and has a strong classical background no doubts! he has also tried singing a couple of songs in a different genre and has sung them just as well..afterall each singer has his/own respective strength areas..

about hype/over-hype/under-rated..etc., well i try not to pay much heed to the trp games of zee and the saregamapa..the mentors just speak out basically in terms of promoting the show..i just listen to the contestants and see who's talented, and how they did justice to the songs..

Btw, can u please tell me which song is this "upar khuda"?? I just can't seem to recollect it, and I wud really like to know..

I do not feel anything wrong in low notes but I can discuss about high notes. He never cracked on high notes. But the way he goes to higher notes is really dangerous, everytime he goes to high notes my mouth always remained open to see if his voice will cracked because he always go very near to it but it never happend, actually he always managed that part beautifully that shows he is really well trained, these small but beautiful things separate him from other. Please listen it again and let me know where did he crack...

Now talking about Hyped/overrated/overhyped, forget about what HR said, he used wrong word. I see misuse of these words here, some people use these words for even those singers who deserves the accolades. If his/her performances not appreciated then next day it will called underrated but if he/she gets deserved appreciation then it becomes overrated/overhyped. There is only extremes.

Couldn't have said it better myself!!👏

Raja has been consistent. I love his voice. He will surely go far whether he wins or not.

I basically absolutely love his voice. I don't know much about being hyped.. but yes he is quite popular.. and it is because the audience loves and sees his dedication and determination towards his songs.

i dont agree...i think he is very good but so is amanat and aneek or sumedha and this week mussarat so i guess other should also be crowned with the highest votes but raja is equally deserving...tought competition i like the level of singing in general
