I don't agree with you Piya.
If you are talking about versatility, then
what about Mauli(always Item numbers), and Mussarat( sufi songs)?????
But Raja is better than both of these because he deosn't always choose one type of songs. I remember when he sang classic song, he was so good
Go raja!!!!!!!
My wishes are with him

Acturally raja is one of the few singers here who doesnt breathe out during a song, i belive he isnt really a trained singer, but his natural voice quality is amazing.

Himesh said this to Raja before his song to put the extra pressure on him. But Raja's excellent response showed that he is not only a good singer, but also a very witty person.

Raja's singing always sounds best becuase of all the emotions he puts in. Go Raja!

Raja is good there is no doubt but more so the character he portrays sets him apart from the rest. He must be very close to his family and they treat him with respect too.

Ok before you all start attacking me ..let me explain, today HR said now Raja is the most overhyped singer in the contest..and i think he is right..but the real question is , does he deserve all this hype?? Yes he sings good, but so does the other contestants like Amanat,, to Aneek to Poonam . They are also consistent in their performances ...then why do judges only go gaga over him?? Raja doesn't even have versatility, where as Amanat, Poonam and Aneek have always shown their versalitity which VS love so much😉 Do you guys think this over publicity is hurting other contestants?? And at the end...the real question, is this over publicity going to hurt Raja's career like it did with Vinit last time??😕, not to forget this publicity also hurt Mauli ..she was hyped so much after one song that she totally lost her momentum for while..So giving So much publicity really important, and if it is then is it important for TRP's or contestants' careers!!😕

i completely agree wid u.... this isnt fair wid other contestants.... raja is the best...but Aamant, Aneek, and poonam are way better than him....and yeah VS talks abt versatility..which raja doesnt have... but still they pampered him a lot...

For me Raja Is the best and he would definitely be the winner of saregamapa. For last few days i voted 100 of votes for him and i will again vote for him 😛 apart from him no doubt we need voices like

Amanat
Poonam
sumedha
Musrat
Aneek but the best i can say is my Dear Raja. 😳 and yes lemme tell you one more think for e.g i m telling you an actor and singer e.g I love Salman khan he is only the one and will be the one forever many times he acted like a same in many movies which i have seen but on another hand without any doubts he can act as movie like Tere naam.and many more to count on " He shows his versatility then why not Raja if he can sing zufi songs then 100 % he can sing other songs too.. Tell me Amant , poonam , sumedha and annek can sing songs like he do they cannot sing Sufi songs that for sure.

I love your singing raja and your future is very bright and he will definitely go so far .. 👏 One day he will show you his versatility too.

Firstly, blame it on Himesh's language skills. His usage of the words "hyped" (He did not say over-hyped, BTW) was not in the correct context. What he meant probaly was, Raja has a lot of buzz all around. That's it.

Now, the second part - does he deserve all the attention he is getting? The answer is in the simple fact - What has he done personally to garner all that attention?

Mauli is a stunner for many. If you ignore her singing, she still is someone, I would watch (perhaps not hear). She gets her attention.

Aneek has his Indian Idolike "incidents". Getting stripped, coaxed into proposing Dia Mirza. He gets the attention.

Ms. Yadav, spelt out her background last week. My sympathies are with her. So are sympathies of millions. She got the attention she deserved.

And Raja? What has he done apart from singing? He sang, he answered questions humbly. He accepted decisions going against him, nary a complaint.

The answer to all your wisdom is, never demand attention. And then it comes to you.

I run Raja's website and am a student of psephology. And I can assure everyone in this forum that shows like Saregamapa are not singing contests. They are about how well the contestant relates to you. Remember Advani's feel-good factor?

There are a thousand better singers than Raja. But not one, who makes an impact with humility as Raja does.

I asked my brother on why he prefered voting for Raja - and his answer was something that simply summarises Raja's "hype" - saale mein akkad nahin hai.

Good luck.
